I've found an MG-F for 2000 euros (continental Europe), with 50000 miles and it looks to be in pretty decent condition. My question is how stupid would it be to buy as a first car and a fun little side project? I have no idea how much maintaining it would run me but ideally i wouldn't to give it a full makeover. I also thought of just running it for a few years for the thrill of it.

Does this sound like a stupid idea?
