Where are my Banner Health PA’s at? What’s the news in the trenches?

I used to work at Banner facilities as a contracted surgical assist. They had such a reputation for being cost cutting. Salaries for PA’s were ridiculously low. Never wanted to pay their providers/anesthesia what they wanted so surgeries would be cancelled leaving patients in a lurch. Meanwhile the C-suite was making some of the highest hospital management salaries in the USA.

Plex pass for Dummies

Ok guys I’m not the most technically savvy. So let me explain this as best as possible and you can tell me if I need to bite the bullet so to speak.

I started using plex in 2023. My brother has the main library that my family and I are tapping into from two states away. It’s worked fairly well for the most part except when his server is “sleeping?” Idk for some reason the server can’t be reached sometimes so it’s inaccessible. Not like we can always bother him and ask him to wake up his computer?

So to solve the problem we bought a Superbox. I’m a big fan of the Superbox because it’s got a lot of context and easily navigable if you know what you want to watch.

But recently we’ve been traveling in the summer and thought that a Plex Pass was all we needed to download some movies for my kids to watch. I got the monthly subscription which I thought would be sufficient enough time. I kept getting an error message shown in the above screenshot.

  1. Do I need my own PLEX pass if my brother has one and I’m tapping into his library?

  2. Why is my brother’s server unavailable at times? Does he need to upgrade something? Recommendations

  3. If I need my own plex pass would you recommend purchasing before the July 1 price increase? I like using the program but it’s been insufficient for me at times. If it was reliable I might love it more.

  4. OR would you recommend I start my own PLEX server/account with why media my brother has currently? I kinda like the fact we all share media and have no problem with it continuing the way it js but again, reliability.
