this is Penny. she was found on the side of the road emaciated and all alone 🥲 but now shes with us in her forever home and loving it <3

i posted yesterday about Annabelles (11 f) breathing, and it got worse and I rushed her to the ER vet. she had fluid all in and around her lungs and heart, in her lungs, and a thickened heart wall, as well as they think lymphoma. her oxygen was 84 when i brought her in and she passed in my arms a few hours later in the hospital. she was a bottle baby i got at 1 week old and fed her milk once an hour every hour for weeks. i miss her dearly and am devastated. thank you for the people who commented and i’m so thankful for little internet communities like this. if anyone has gone through anything like this, advice is welcome on how to help this grief. it happened so quickly and i feel so bad for her. she was playing and eating and grooming so normally and then went downhill so quickly.
