Anyone enjoy the free show?

We get to see people blowing up thousands for private shows and strip views full of casinos spending hundreds of thousands (it’s gotta be in the millions at this point right?) on fireworks for free but lots of folks are complaining about it on here. Like sure, it is A LOT but complain about the random fireworks in March and give the 4th a pass. It’s freaking epic! Loud, smokey and epic.

Looking for recommendations

Hello! I've recently gotten into WLW books since burning myself out on traditional romantasy. This led me to Bloom Town: Genesis (Bloom Town, #1) (I gave both books 5/5), which led me to The Devil Between Us (Devil, #1) (gave each book in the trilogy 4/5).

Someone recommended The Woman from the Waves, which I enjoyed (3.9/5). Took me a minute to get into the >!Stormhorse!< of it all, but ended up enjoying it.

So, here I am asking for more recs! Reading the descriptions online of the other WLW books I've seen recommended here before aren’t grabbing my attention, so Im hoping a fan or two can point me towards (or away from) my next read.

Help me pick my next read! My want to read self currently:

  1. The Priory of the Orange Tree (The Roots of Chaos, #1)
  2. Backwards to Oregon (The Oregon Series, #1)
  3. Heart of Gold (Heart, #1)
  4. The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
  5. The Wilds & The Weeds
  6. Ribbonwood

Is my next read on the shelf, or have I not found it yet?

(edit: added 2 more options)

Bloom Town appreciation post

Thank you to whoever recommended this book on this sub. I loved it!

I was a bit bored with traditional romantasy and didn't want another BDSM-heavy read that for some reason seems to accompany every WLW romantasy book I've tried. I tend to read random books suggested by Kindle, but decided to take it to this sub for ideas on WLW in a real-world setting. Not yucking anyone's yum, just wanted some variety.

The story, the characters, the twists. Loved them all. 5 stars from me. Bought book 2 immediately after finishing the first (read it in one sitting!) and am more ready to dive in!
