I was recently pulled over by a City of Columbia officer for going 68 in a 35 — which puts me at 25+ over the limit. I've already gotten a few quotes for legal representation but wanted to hear from others who've been in a similar situation.

Specifically, I'm curious what people paid to be represented for something like this and what the outcome was. I've heard it's sometimes possible to get it reduced to a non-moving violation to avoid the 6 points, potentially with a defensive driving course requirement. Has anyone gone through this process? What did representation cost you and how did it turn out?

I wanted to share my experience with researching different brands of shoes that are bunion friendly. My latest shoe I've found is the Kuru Draft Rento. It's a slip on shoe with a wide toe bay that's more than accommodating to my bunions. I believe I also have some plantar fasciitis going on too which I believe it's helped with. Next I want to try Brooks Adrenaline GTS, Kuru Atom, and maybe Hoka Bondi. I've gathered that these shoes offer an appropriate amount of drop taking strain off of the forefoot while offering arch support to help correct the inward roll we sometimes naturally have with bunions. Does anyone else have any recommendations to share with their experience with shoes and feeling relief?
