The vocals are delicious and not as “polished?”than the album vocals. Loved how they dialled back the production? Effects? And her vocal just pierced through.
And at times she played effects (?) or whatever it is called it decorated her already amazing vocal and the vocal was front and center. And it was not overdone and it was selective which made it chef kiss. And the arrangements are also a bit stripped down which also made them sound so so good. I love the OG version and I also love this.
