Edit: I lost my visa after moving from my previous country (SK) but would like to continue using my phone, which is still good for a few years. Anyone have experience

I did a search but didn't see anything recent, just one from a couple years ago.

I live abroad and visit the US for about 5-10 weeks a year.

What’s the cheapest way to park my number, but still receive verification texts, and have a somewhat reasonable rate while I’m back in the US visiting home?

Edit: Thanks for the great leads, I'll follow-up on some of these and let people know how it goes.

Update: MakeMKV pic uploaded. It comes with an additional power barrel to Usb A cable, instructions say to use it if errors or encountered or doing other things (maybe more than 1x?).

I asked customer service (I moved to China last year) and they confirmed its an LG internal drive and also said its...translation gets rough in this part...LibreDrive readable.

I ordered one and post an update here once it arrives and I test it.

One thing that worried me a bit is they advertise a dual chip controller for better reading / writing, which I hope doesn't complicate firmware updates. I just don't know enough about these devices and where in the pipeline that dual controller is implemented. I hope its in the USB controller and related to IO / power, but just don't know.

Does anyone here have experience with Hirucy drives? I found one advertised as having a BU40N. Is this able to be flashed the same as other drives with the BU40N?

The course above's description on the CUB's website (CSCA 5403: Basic Ideas in Computing Security | Computer Science | University of Colorado Boulder) doesn't match the Coursera one (Basic Ideas in Computing Security | Coursera). One states Java is required and suggests a tutorial while the other says no programming background is required.

Can anyone who has taken it confirm which of the two is correct?
