I’m visiting Edinburgh for the first time and desperately want to see the Scottish Highlands but the catch is that only have one day to spare. Can I please get recommendations where can I go for a day trip or a one-night stay.
I don’t want to book with any tours and can get on a bus or train. can probably utilise the journey to enjoy a scenic ride to somewhere? I sometimes require mobility aids and hence don’t prefer hiking or long walks. So any place that can allow me to experience the highlands without walking long distances (nothing more than one hour) is preferred please.

As the title suggests can I please have some help with the itinerary for Montenegro and Albania. I’m travelling with family and will have 2 people aged 60 so long walks and trekking are not an option.
Also, we have 2 people who can drive but are not very well versed with left-side driving. So we don’t prefer long distances.
The trip is mainly to relax, enjoy the sea side, and to move at a leisurely pace.

Arrive Tirana late night.
Short drive into the city/airport hotel, rest. (Stay: Tirana)

Day 2
Drive from Tirana to Kotor (~4 hrs incl border).
Coastal arrival, settle in and enjoy Kotor Old Town in the evening. (Stay: Kotor)

Day 3
Relaxed Montenegro day.
Explore Kotor Old Town, Perast boat trip, Budva/Sveti Stefan viewpoints, cafés and sunset spots. (Stay: Kotor)

Day 4
Drive from Kotor to Krujë (~4 hrs).
Stop for scenic breaks along the coast, then visit Krujë bazaar and castle. (Stay: Krujë)

Day 5
Drive Krujë to Berat (~2 hrs).
Explore old town, castle and river views in the evening. (Stay: Berat)

Day 6
Relaxed day trip from Berat
Belsh Lakes or Durrës or
Apollonia ruins
Return and chill in Berat. (Stay: Berat)

Day 7
Drive from Berat to Tirana (~2 hrs).
Free time in Tirana for cafés, shopping, and dinner before airport.
Late-night bus to airport for return flight (~12am).

My parents are taking their first flight in their lifetime and I want to get them the best seats to enjoy good views during takeoff and landing. I've sponsored their tickets and couldn't afford anything more than economy, please bear with it :/

I would greatly appreciate any help in seat suggestions.
