Tremolo? Caprino? Running out of air? Tension? Help a girl out!

I now it’s too much to hope that this is emerging vibrato. So what is it? And what should I do to correct it? Because I assume these wavers of me doing something wrong rather than something right.

(And I know I’m off pitch, sorry sorry sorry)

Call for help with my high notes: why do they sound so, so, so very bad?

The notes on the sheet music are:

For F#4 the E4 popular E5 girl F#5 high F#5 in G#5 the F#5 bubble F#5 E5

…so from that sense, I’m mostly there? And I’m not straining — like, it’s easy for me to get there, I’m not reaching for it. It just sounds so awful.

Is it tension? Is it wrong placement? Is it poor support? Is it legit out of my range, get outta here girl? All of the above? Something else?

Any help is deeply appreciated 🙏🙌🧡

Give me drawing prompts while I’m at SDCC

I’m currently at San Diego Comic Con doing my favorite thing: waiting in lines! Give me drawing prompts and I’ll doodle + post in my downtimes between panels.

Jimothy and Princess Donut demand it.

Question about tessitura

Is singable range generally a fixed thing (outside of gaining a note or two) or does range as a beginner represent one's potential if proper technique is achieved?

My range currently is D3 to Eb6. Occasionally (on good days with A LOT of warm up), I can get up to F6 and down to B2 but that's just me making noise ('ah' or 'oo') and not singing words.

I'm still a beginner; I am not singing with vibrato yet. That said, there are parts of my range that sound nice (-ish) and have bits of shimmer (is that emerging vibrato? 🤷‍♀️). It feels the easiest, most comfortable, most effortless, and most natural when I sing G4 to G5. When I am singing notes in that octave, it's a happy place.

D3 through F4 is doable but feels weak, quiet, and unstable. A5 through C6 is technically on-pitch, I love singing up there, and I'm definitely not straining for the notes but they sound shrill and there's rarely any shimmer. Db6, D6, and Eb6: again, on-pitch and I am not straining but I can feel that I'm definitely tensing up (this might be heavily mental as I'm always like 'eeek, I'm above C6' in my head).

Will G4 to G5 always be my singable range and below/above that are forever in the category of 'well, you can reach those notes but they'll never be good'? Or is the lack of stability and prettiness at the lower and higher ends of my range more of a reflection of improper technique?

This guy is breaking my heart 💔

In the fall, I noticed a trio of swan geese showed up at the lake in our small mountain town. I’m guessing they were dumped. Unfortunately, the trio became a pair pretty soon after they arrived but the two remaining geese were together throughout the winter.

Maybe a month or so ago, I noticed that only one goose remains. He seems so lonely — he follows people around when they come to the lake and even paddles around with them when they go swimming.

I know his chances aren’t good as a solo goose but I don’t really know what to do. I’m going to try to find rescues willing to help. We get a lot of tourists over the 4th of July and I’m really hoping that no one is mean to him.

If anyone knows of a farm or bird rescue in San Bernardino mountains area, please let me know.
