A hundred Thank Yous gathered in a joyful flash.
u/DucksOnLilypads has made quite the splash,
Now Bronze Flair rests like a lilypad crown,
A Milestone earned without ever sinking down.
Each comment they’ve shared has paddled its way,
Across the pond of threads where kind voices play.

Thank you friends for sending me mail! I haven't gone by my POBox recently so if you sent something there, then I'll grab it sometime soon.

u/megbha moves through threads with quiet spark,
a steady glow that brightens every remark.
A hundred Thank Yous now gather in line,
each one a nod to their helpful design.
Solid Flair suits them — grounded, clear,
a badge that says you’ve made an impact here.
From thoughtful posts to kindness shared,
u/megbha shows up, prepared and cared,
Here’s to the Milestone, warm and bright,
a hundred moments shaped just right.

I haven’t made any wontons lately so this was a good opportunity to do so. With some Lao Gan Ma, it was a great meal! Leftovers in the fridge for another night when we don’t want to cook.
u/sammanthax345, you’ve been carding so hard,
Time to get that envelope charred.
That’s right, 500 Thanks in the bank,
So please join the Black Flair rank.

Oh lame, I can’t add both pictures and a video.
Anyways, we made a simple rice noodle dish with some salmon, carrots and cucumbers. Also had a quick peanut sauce once I was eating.
The noodles changed color since the ph levels changed. Boiled some red cabbage. Then used the cabbage water to make the noodles. And then lemon - and the color changed!
I have 20 Hong Kong cards that are up for grabs. Some are cards from Max and Oscar, and others I got from Zazzle.
flaired members only. (this means you have an envelope next to your name)
comment below and then fill out the form. No flair, no comment, no card. You can just note this is a hong kong card in the form. Feel free to provide a prompt in the form. I will not answer anything too private though.
u/YarnivorousPlants sprout in the comments,
twisting vines of wit and woolly humour
through every conversation.
A hundred Thank Yous now bloom around them,
each one a little petal of appreciation
for the way they stitch threads together
and nibble away at dull moments
with leafy, yarn‑loving charm.
Bronze Flair roots itself firmly, a Solid sign that their growth
has been
noticed,
nurtured,
and thoroughly enjoyed.

I love shrimp heads; normally when we make shrimp, I do enjoy sucking the heads. The husband doesn’t love it but that’s okay. We made something else with shrimp and I figured fried shrimp heads must be delicious right? So paired it with some red beans (made from kidney beans) and rice. And a bit of andouille sausage.
It was a strange combo but I actually enjoyed the shrimp heads. I did use a bit too much corn starch and I was hoping the air fryer would fry it out more but it didn’t. Lesson learned!
Offering up 12 postcards from different tourist locations in Hangzhou, China. I visited most recently earlier this year with a bunch of family.
If you'd like a card, please comment below with a prompt for me to answer and whether you are in the US or not US (aka WW). I'll choose my favorite 12 prompts, and probably will try and split it 50/50 US, WW and I will respond to you with a form to fill out. Please fill out the form that I comment to you within 24 hours of receiving so I can get the cards out in a timely manner.
Edit: I am headed to bed and will pick the rest later. There are 4 left.
One of my favorite ice creams at a local shop is their banana pudding pie ice cream so I had to recreate the pie to help with the cravings. The husband ate like 3/4 of the pie the day I wasn’t home.
A couple of weeks ago, the hubs and I visited his friend in Portland and his friend picked up some candied salmon. And when I couldn’t decide what to make for this week, I thought of doing something with wild Alaskan salmon. The candying process wasn’t difficult - just a bit time consuming.
I ended up pulling the salmon at 3 different times suggested in the recipe (2, 3, and 4 hours) and I think I preferred the 3 hour one and the husband liked the 3 and 4 hour ones better. Slightly drier and more flavorful!
Thank you friends who have sent stuff my way :)

Five hundred Thanks now rise and shine,
For u/elleeb8, whose steady line
Of kindness, wit, and helpful grace
Has earned the Black Flair’s honored place.
A Milestone vast, a rare ascent,
Each Thank You proof of time well spent,
A tapestry of moments made,
Of guidance offered, calm conveyed.
(written by the amazing u/monetmonkey!)
u/Beneficial-Ant2217's kindness marches, small but strong,
Each Thank You adding to the throng,
A steady beat, a worker’s song,
Proving helpfulness can’t go wrong.
So here’s your rhyme to mark the feat,
A milestone warm, a moment sweet,
Your Bronze is earned with no retreat,
Your helpful trail is hard to beat.

One of the major stars on Norwegian World Cup team is Erling Braut Haaland - and I feel like everyone has fallen in love with him recently. I found a recipe (using Norwegian cod but couldn’t find any cod) that was touted as one of his faves so we had to make it. And now with their historic run (now into the quarterfinals after 28 years not being in the World Cup), I’ll have to make more Norwegian salmon to send all the positives vibes for Saturday! Heia Norge! Ro!
Your words have helped, your tone has shone,
Each Thank You stacked like polished stone,
A quiet craft that’s all your own,
Now the Solid Milestone stands well‑known.
So here’s a rhyme to mark the climb,
A little cheer in measured time,
Keep shining in your thoughtful prime,
Your Bronze is truly earned, sublime.

Delicious and easy recipe!
Give a light sprinkle of puns
because u/umlautless has crossed
the 100 Thank Yous threshold!
A Bronze flair earned
without needing even a single pair of dots.
Each Thank You a tiny vowel standing tall
unadorned, unmodified, yet unmistakably appreciated.
You’ve shown that even without accents,
your impact lands clearly and your presence needs no diacritics to shine.
