Hello, I don’t know much about mechanical pencils, but I tend to use them a lot of writing and drawing so I want to invest in a good one. I was looking through this subreddit for reviews on pencils like Kuru Toga, Rotring and Pentel graphgear models, however there’s a lot of mixed reviews and I don’t know what to get anymore.

Basically, I’m looking for something up to like $35 that’s good for writing fast, doesn’t break too easy, not too light or too heavy (maybe on the heavier side but not too important) and I don’t mjnd the design but I think a metal/chrome would look nice.

If anyone knows a mechanical pencil that checks those boxes, or just a good affordable pencil they would recommend, let me know. thanks!
