Story is I bought a house and after moving in, I noticed quite some cracks in the walls. I visited the house before, with my makelaar, but in certain areas there were furniture or a storage space that was full so those cracks were not visible. However, in other cases, I can see the cover-up of a long crack in the living room that is only visible after going very close to the corner. There was no technical inspection. The former owner stated that there were no cracks at all, it's written down in the questionnaire he filled in. What are my options now? Since I don't know what I am dealing with, I have no idea if these cracks are structural or cosmetic. Should I consult a lawyer?
