I’m currently working as a doctor in Europe. I would love to relocate to Zambia and open up a GP clinic/ urgent care and provide a higher quality standard of care for my patients. I would be focusing on semi acute illnesses, chronic illnesses, lifestyle medicine, travel medicine, minor surgery, and basic diagnostic ultrasound. I want to know from those in the healthcare sector if this is feasible ? Both from the regulatory and financial aspects. Is there a market for such services in Zambia ? Would the population be able to afford such services ? Is there scope for growth ? Looking forward to hearing what you lovely people have to say. Thanks.
