Hi, I’m kinda new to this genre and having a blast playing Crimzon Clover World Explosion - I got my 1st CC on novice and now trying on arrange mode, it certainly ramps up!

It took me a while to realise there’s a rank bar, and after a bit of googling I found that it goes up as you play better, and makes things harder. It goes down when use a bomb or lose a life. My question is: how should this affect my play-style?

It seems that trying to use a bomb whenever I can barely keeps the bar under red, whilst also making me vulnerable to losing a life which I don’t really like.

If I use break mode it seems to ramp up very quickly, suggesting there’s more than just low and high like the bar would suggest - is it a scale? I figure that maybe I should just not use bombs at all, and use them for when I get hit, which protects my lives and takes the rank down automatically. This seems ideal, but surely I’m missing something, otherwise this system wouldn’t be in place.
