My (probably female) boa constrictor imperator finally move into the enclosure! Her name is Aoda.
I wanted to thank everyone that helped me set my enclosure up and make everything work!
Humidity is still a little low, but i have some sphagnum moss left over that ill put into the enclosure if it shouldnt go up.

Cant keep humidity up

Ive recently finished setting up my enclosure for my boa constrictor imperator, which i havent adopted yet.
My enclosure is 150x60x80cm and is made of wood with a front glass panel. It has 2 ventilation mesh in the top corner and 2 on the other side on the bottom, they are rather small though. As substrate im using coco husk.
To keep the temperature up, im using a halogen 70W and a DHP 80W which i keep on a thermostat on 32*C.
Now my problem: My humidity keeps staying around 53-55% max, and i cant keep it above 60-70% for more than an hour.

Ive read a few forums what to do so heres what i have tried already:
- poured water in the corners into the substrate
- sprayed the whole enclosure down with water (alot, multiple times)
- sprayed specifically the walls
- poured water straight onto the substrate, hides, fake plants and wood
- put a second waterbowl on the cooler side of the enclosure
- put a water bowl with large surface relatively close below the heat source

And STILL, my enclosure just wont keep the humidity :(
Im at my wits end, my snake will be adopted beginning of july, and i want my enclosure ready till then.
Please give me some advice!!

Is my enclosure ready?

I have just finished setting up my enclosure for a BCI. She is gonna be around 2-3 months old when i adopt her (currently 1.5 months old, not ready for adoption).
The enclosure size is 150x60x80cm large.
Im running a halogen (left) with a 80W Arcadia DHP (right).
I have both on a thermostat (Habistat) with the DHP as heating and halogen as lighting.
Temperatures below the DHP are around 31*, on the right wall around 26* and on the cool side around 24.5*.
I have 2 hides, one on the hot side and one on the cool side, even tho the one on the cool side might be too small for the Boa already, im gonna have to upsize on it. The waterbowl is in the left corner (on the warm side).
I havent checked night temps yet, the thermostat should do that itself though, right?

Am i missing something?
Im open to all advice and tips on how to improve my enclosure.

Help with new enclosure

Im looking to get myself a young boa constrictor imperator as my first snake. I don’t want a small snake so the BCI is perfect because i start of easy and small and eventually get my dream snake size.
Im looking to get a 150x60x80 wooden enclosure for it (the one on the picture).
It has a heat lamp pre installed and has ventilation.

My question:
- Is the size suitable for a young Boa? (size around 50cm/20inch). How could i make it more comfortable for a small boa, since i dont want to immediately have to upgrade it.
-What kind of lighting should i additionally get? Ive seen recommendations for a T5 allround daylight fluorescent tube.
-How do install a fluorescent tube, does it need a safety guard so my boa doesnt burn itself?
-Will i be able to have suitable humidity and temp? I want to get coco splitter as substrate.
-What size hide etc. will i need so my boa wont feel too exposed?
-Can my waterbowl be too large? I dont want it to accidentally drown.
-Any other recommendations or tips for my enclosure?

Thanks if you read through all of it, i appreciate all the help.
