Immortal Phoenix will have a ridiculous amount of extra deck monsters. More than any other core set in yugioh with 21 cards. That's over 1/4 of the set being extra deck monsters.
Immortal phoenix right now holds the title for the set with the most amount of extra deck monsters in all of yugioh. It has slots 30-50 all being extra deck monsters which means 26.25% of this set is made up of fusions, synchros, xyz and link monsters. Let that sink in for a second.

This is easily the best scene in waking the dragon. Kaiba finds out that yugi lost to someone that wasn't him and loses it. He calls yugi a stray dog before slamming down the phone lol.
This is the greatest scene in yugioh waking the dragons arc ever. Kaiba finds out yugi lost to someone that wasn't him and he loses his mind. He angrily yells at yugi before slamming down the phone.

Super hot take: I love konami's Pandering to the Original Yu-Gi-Oh! series and I will never get tired of it
People always say duel monsters/original series gets way too much love and support. These people are 100% right. However, I will NEVER get tired of duel monsters support. Konami can nostalgia bait me all they want cause I want to be nostalgia baited. I love the new yugi rolad deck, joey dark time wizard and marik sun god decks. Even toons which are an abomination on the competitive game are finally playable which is cool (Not cool that they have hand checking and lack HOPTs)
I know people will complain and hate on me for saying this but it's really how I feel. I love when konami gives dm character's legacy support and brand new fun decks like rolad.

I really hope someday they turn blue eyes ultimate dragon fused with mammoth graveyard into a real card.
Such a sick moment in the duel between yami yugi vs kaiba during duelist kingdom. They could make it into some type of kaiju extra deck monster similar to the new lava golem.

To this day, this is still the greatest combo in the history of the yugioh anime.
I don't care what anybody says. No vrains link slop combo will ever compare to the deadliest combo in all of yugioh. I thought this combo was insane the first time kaiba pulled this off.

I miss duelist packs
Man, duelist packs were awesome. I loved the original duelist packs back when they started them with jaden. The 5d's ones were especially peak cause they had kaiba and yugi along with yusei and crow. The legend duelist packs might have been the best because you had so many characters getting new cards. While the attribute duelist packs like wind and water were especially weaker, I cannot complain because I enjoyed those as well.
I'm sad that duelist packs are gone cause at this rate, it doesn't look like they're returning ever again.

In the fifth and final ed for Yugioh 5Ds, they show the prototype design of shooting quasar dragon in a silhouette. It's pretty interesting to see what they originally wanted the card to look like vs it's final design
It's honestly pretty interesting how different quasar ended up looking in it's final design that appeared in the anime vs the original design they intended for the monster. It looked like they initially wanted it to look similar to shooting star dragon with the wings, the body and the colors but decided to just completely reinvented. I like the final design so I can't complain here.

I always thought it was cool how yusei fusion summoned by combining both stardust dragon and junk warrior together. Even though he only did it once, it was still a nice idea using his two ace monsters to make dragon knight before he achieved accel synchro later on.

Future Colors is my favorite yugioh 5ds ending and this is one of my favorite moment from it. I love how vibrant the colors are with the emotion in this image.
Can't explain why, but this is one of my favorite shots from the final opening future colors. Just so peak...

Does anyone else find it pretty funny and ironic how every single set that has come out this year has been amazing competitively except for the pack that has joey on the cover of it?
Blazing dominion - Absolute banger
Limit over collection - The Heroes - Amazing set
Limit over collection - The Rivals - Amazing set x2
Chaos Origins - Great Set
Revolution Booster - Completely Busted
Beyond the brave - Absolute garbage and the only bad set that happens to have joey on the cover
You can't make this stuff up lol

I still find it weird how they decided to give nova kaiser a chaos number in general kaiser over giving lead yoke a chaos xyz or even retraining 105 & c105.
I think in terms of design, general kaiser looks sick and is very cool in the battlin boxer deck. At the same time I'm very confused that they didn't even decide to retrain 105 and c105. They could have even given lead yoke a cxyz or make one for dempsey.
