Large round flat Miocene rock with very detailed fish spine imprint fossil.
I found this circular flat rock on the beach in central California. It looks like the ammonite rocks they crack open from the UK, however I don't think this is the same but maybe it has something inside? I know this is miocene rock and it's full of large mammalian fossils. There were several very large bones in matrix nearby. Once I got home I noticed it had a very detailed imprint fossil of a fish spine or something. Super cool

Goat head sculpture acquired from yard sale in California USA
I made a custom bracket to mount it(not visible in pictures) and after drilling the pilot holes on the back the saw dust was extremely fragrant, like roses. The sculpture is carved by hand tools with lots of texture and details. The existing hole to mount it was hand carved as well. There was no origin info from the seller. The wood is very hard with some dark and lighter areas. The sculpture follows the form of the tree branch it's made from. The eyes look kinda African but I really don't know. The thing below is 18"x12" for scale. I'll add a detailed image in the comments. Looking for any info.
DMV
Google can you stop letting companies that do the same thing as a .gov site be first listed when you search for it.
I googled vehicle registration and I clicked the first link thinking that it would be the DMV. If AI is useful then it should be. But of course I got all the way through the process and was about to pay for renewal when I realized the website address didn't end in .gov.
Luckily I avoided the 50 buck service fee but I was still pissed. I actually pay for Google and felt scammed by this. I'm not asking for much, just provide the actual .gov listing first no matter what.

Seems to work well on non ferrous material. I can feel a lot of magnetic repulsion.
