Traded in my 2013 Ecoboost for this beauty. The ole’ girl had 152,000 on her, was really starting to rust, and the small repairs were starting to pile up. I was adamant I didn’t need a new vehicle but the wife hit me with “you need something that’s completely reliable driving our babies around” So I caved and started shopping. I knew I was done with the ecoboost engine so started shopping for V8 150’s. After building out what I wanted in a Lariat I realized it wasn’t that much more for a 250. So I ended up building a 7.3 Lariat for roughly only 5k more than what a 150 was going to be. I figured heck with it, you only live once, buy the bigger truck and enjoy it. That being said, I loved that 150. It was my first truck and got me through 11 years of my life. Dealer said it’s headed to auction so I hope it ends up on a farm somewhere or is a kid’s first truck. But now it’s only logical to buy a nice boat right?
