I was prescribed Pregabalin at 150mg daily for anxiety roughly four years ago, due to having prior issues with benzos, and about a year ago I asked for my dosage to be lowered to 75 daily, just to ease my worries about lack of motivation and memory loss, as I'm a student and they were getting in the way of that, but I've been recently considering getting off it altogether, as I still find I have some (though lesser) issues with the same problems, and am generally concerned about potential permanent damages that long term gabapentinoid use might carry, though I am largely ignorant about those.

From what I understand, 75 daily is a low dose, but the amount of time I've been on it does make me worry that I'll have horrendous rebound anxiety or some kind of episode, and that would definitely be worse for my studies than Pregabalin ever could.

Does anybody have any experience with getting off a low dose after years of use, or have any experience with lasting issues after quitting? I would generally appreciate some insight.
