New open payment provider fee in reality

So its now been 2 months since this fee went into effect. Ill admit i mostly just brushed it off as nonsense for the bigger stores or potentially as nonsense for us. Well last month with our under 1k of sales and our mostly check based payments saw us getting a $13 fee. Thats almost a third of our base monthly cost. So sure BC, your 2% fee is now costing me 33% more to do business with you.

My real issue with this is how they conveniently put manual payment method and other "offline" payments under the umbrella of open payment providers, It seems like this change is geared directly at stealing money from the lower tier stores who dont do alot of online checkout type orders. Has anyone found a workaround to avoid having manual orders end up getting charged?

I also have adopted the practice of creating manual orders just so i can provide estimates for some customers, but now im concerned those fake orders are going to inflate my real fees.

adding atrocitus to my collection

so some time ago i got the green lantern kyle rayner blackest night. Not because i wanted blackest night, but because i wanted kyle rayner. At the time i didnt want to buy the other 3 BAF figures for atrocitus but have been contemplating it ever since.

Now theres the new 2 pack, but 90 is steep since i'm not familiar with the second red lantern fig. Currently on BBTS the other 3 figs are on super sale for around $50 total which would get me atrocitus as well as the 3 black lanterns, but im not that keen on zombie style figs which is part of why i'm still on the fence.

So, is there any positives to the 2 pack or BAF versions to sway either way? Or maybe i just dont bother with atrocitus?

Lots of new fig posts, lets go back in time

Everything's always about what's new or coming. Let's show some love to the dust collectors and post some pics of your oldest or first figs. This is my first, but not my oldest. Diamond select DD i picked up at a now defunct comic shop about a decade ago.

This is my favorite scifi franchise but its been years since any releases, long before i was an active collector. Anyone have pics to show me or info on good sources for figures?

My fear of buying dupes and how I ended up making my own collection app

So one afternoon i was browsing mcfarlane toy store and found a superman i wanted. A few minutes later i realized i might have it already and after searching i did in fact own it. It was then i realized i needed a way to avoid this in the future and went searching for cataloging apps.

I love league of comic geeks, but the closest i found to it was iCollect. Well suffice it to say this app is boring, clunky and no matter how hard i tried i just couldnt bring myself to use it. As a developer by trade the natural thing to do was build my own. What you see in the pics is the result of that. If anyone is interested in helping test on android i could use some fresh eyes and feedback.
