Fronx delta plus AGS vs Nexon Smart + AMT
Hi everyone,
After months of test drives, I’ve narrowed my choice down to two cars for a ₹10.5L budget.
The Options:
• Fronx Delta Plus AGS (₹10.10L)
• Nexon Smart+ AMT (₹10.40L)
My Context:
• Current Car: Baleno Manual (ruled out the Tata Punch as it didn't feel like a substantial enough upgrade).
• Usage: 50% heavy Bangalore city traffic; 50% highway weekend trips.
• Priority: Ease of driving in traffic + safety/stability for the highway.
The Conflict:
• The Fronx offers better refinement (4-cylinder), Maruti’s reliability, and a smoother AGS, but feels less "SUV" than the Nexon.
• The Nexon offers a 5-star safety rating and better highway presence, but I'm concerned about Tata’s AMT smoothness, after-sales service and AMT mileage in city
The Question:
For a 50/50 mix of Bangalore crawls and highway runs, which is the better long-term pick? Does the Nexon's safety/torque outweigh the Fronx’s refinement and peace of mind?
Would love to hear from owners of either!
