Working out how to run a cable

I want to get a cable from one side of the house into the middle ish, and the roof is flat, so no attic to work with.

I’ve looked at options like running it around the outside, but all options have their downsides.

How do I go about deciding the best approach? Sorry if this is a bit general with no pics, just wanting some pointers in general for starters I guess.

Aluminium door only draining outer channel

I have an aluminium door with two section that slide. There’s 6 channels in total in the bottom of the door frame.

I pried up the cover and discovered the outer channel is empty, with a working weep hole.

The other five channels are full of water. I’ve run my finger and a screwdriver along the channels and there doesn’t seem to be any holes between the channels.

I’m assuming this isn’t normal. Is there some other way I should check for connections? I got some water out of the innermost track and the one next to it didn’t drain in, so they all really seem to be isolated.

Any ideas of what to check for? Should I consider drilling? Would be hard to get flat holes as I’d have to come in on an angle.

Edit: unsure what brand it is. Anyone know how I can find out?
