I'm still trying to successfully finish a solo hm run, and have come to decide that there are four levels that will always be dedicated to abjuration/draconic sorc 2/2. The problem having is deciding how to continue the build. What do you fine people recommend for the best possible use of 8 levels?
Was at level 11, nearly 12, in the house of hope. Was in process of freeing hope, used Mind Flayer fly to get to the second beholder to kill it, and it hit me with a paralysis ray, mid-flight, causing me to fall to my doom.

I am on the ketheric tower fight, started it, popped invis and ran out to give the enemies a chance to group up. Came back in invis and cast an evard's on the group.
It was then the game decided to do this (enemies just standing there, not acting, not taking turns):
Title is the question. Going to play a MOSTLY evil run but I want to have both the robes from alfira and minthara in my party. Wondering if you can do the thing you do with alfira if you're the durge or not
I've completed this game at all levels, including solo Honor mode (with a wizard). Took a while off, because I'd played it for many thousands of hours beforehand. Came back after beating and completionist running both Wasteland 3 and XCOM 2. Figured I'd do a run on tactician, trying some different builds on the way.
My party as it stands before ketheric:
Tav (8 GS Ranger/1 Rogue)
Minthara (EK level 9, focused on orbs/status effects)
Astarion (5 Giant Barb/4 Open Hand)
Shadowheart (7 Death Cleric/2 Necro Wiz)
Been beating my head against the wall against this fight and wondering if it'd be a good point just to restart. Can this comp do it in your opinion?
