Has anyone else ever wondered this? The Steam controller pads are the only touchpad I can think of that emulates a trackball, and it feels amazing.
This is a new open source program for adding an emulated trackball effect to your macbook's trackpad. I could not find this feature anywhere, so | created it myself. As I get older my fingers seem to feel more sore. Being able to flick the trackpad to glide the cursor allows me to move my fingers less, and it feels very natural. It will get improved if needed and if anyone has requests for improvements. Go to the releases page to download and install it.
