Real teams are now in RaceLivery Studio!

You could already design a MyTeam livery and export it as a mod. Now you can put that design on any of the eleven 2026 team slots instead.

What actually goes in the slot is the MyTeam (FOM) chassis wearing the team's name — not the team's own chassis. That was a deliberate choice, and here is the reasoning, because I think it's the interesting part.

Every team's car has its own UV layout, and they are not comparable. Reading them out of the game's own archives: the body paints from 4096² on the Red Bull, 2048² on the Ferrari, 1024² on the Williams, and 256² on the Haas — the whole car, at 256 pixels square. Measured against how much bodywork each atlas has to cover, a sponsor logo on the 2026 Haas gets about 45 texels per metre where the Red Bull gets 1427. Thirty times. Several cars also read the same texels from two places, so a logo on the sidepod prints again on the far flank, mirrored.

You can fix that per car — I did, for four of them, rebuilding their atlas layouts by hand over a week. But there is a harder problem underneath: a design drawn for one chassis does not cover another. Laying a MyTeam livery over a real chassis leaves large areas bare, and the cars whose shape diverges most are exactly the ones people most want to dress. I built that route, tried it in the game, and threw it away.

So the MyTeam car goes into the slot whole. The livery arrives exactly as it left the editor — nothing stretched, nothing approximated, no per-car guesswork.

How the mod is built, since it matters for stability: it does not replace the team's vehicle archive. It overrides two layer resources inside a shader package the game already loads, and ships a material set of its own. The team's handling, damage model, cameras, mirrors and VFX all stay stock, and your own MyTeam car keeps the livery you painted for it — the two never share a texture.

- Installs through Simplified Launcher like any other mod

- Each team keeps a separate design

Real chassis support isn't off the table, but it isn't close either, and I'd rather say so than imply otherwise.

Thanks to Team Simplified — the Launcher and the SERPs base files are what make any of this installable, and they answered a lot of questions about how the game's car files fit together while this was being built. Go support their work.

I built a browser editor that paints your MyTeam livery on the real 3D car and exports it as a mod

Rule 7 first, so nobody thinks I skipped it. I sent modmail before posting and got nothing back. I also emailed Aarava and messaged him on Instagram, with the same result. So it is out in the open here, and if it does not fit this sub, remove it.

Half the people here start a MyTeam save after watching a series and then stall on the livery screen, because doing it properly means a Photoshop template, a DDS plugin and reloading the game ten times to see what moved.

So I built racelivery.studio. It runs in the browser and there is nothing to install.

You paint on the actual F1 25 car. Left drag orbits it, right drag pans, the wheel zooms. Beside it there is the flat 4096 canvas with a UV guide, so you can tell which part of the sheet is the sidepod and which is the engine cover.

You get a body colour and finish, and a separate one for the floor, edges and aero parts, since the game puts those on their own material. Matte, shiny, gloss, chrome and carbon fibre, per layer as well as globally.

For logos there is a searchable library of 3400+ brands. You can upload your own PNG, or copy a logo from anywhere and press Ctrl+V on the page and it appears as a layer. Text and shapes too.

To place something you press "Place in 3D" and click where you want it on the car, and it sorts out the UV itself. Then you have scale, rotate, offset and opacity sliders working live on the model. There is a tickbox that makes the opposite-side copy for you, so both sidepods match without you lining them up by hand.

The base and any layer can take a second colour with its own finish if you want a fade, and there is an inspiration list of full fantasy team designs if starting from a white car puts you off.

At the end you save the project as a JSON file to reopen later, and export a mod ZIP. It goes in the Simplified Launcher mods folder unextracted, with SERPs Base Files selected next to it. The install steps and the usual problems are at racelivery.studio/how-to.

There is a community page as well, so you can open a design someone published and keep editing your own version of it.

Not affiliated with EA, Codemasters or Team Simplified.

If you have a livery idea you have never managed to actually build, say what it needs and I will tell you whether it can do it yet.

I built a tool that lets you design your F1 25 MyTeam livery on the real 3D car and export it as a mod

Mods, about rule 8: I sent modmail and then messaged every one of you separately. Nobody has answered. I'm not trying to get around the rule, so I'm putting it at the top. If it's still not allowed, delete it.

The reason this exists is that the normal way to do a MyTeam livery is to download a template, open Photoshop, paint on a flat UV sheet, convert it to DDS, repack it, load the game, and find out the logo you put on the sidepod is smeared across the halo. Then you go back and do it again. I did that a few times and started building my own thing instead. It has taken most of this year.

It's racelivery.studio. It opens in Chrome and there is nothing to install.

The car is the real F1 25 mesh, not a mockup. Left drag orbits, right drag pans, the wheel zooms. Next to it is the flat 4096 canvas with a UV guide over it, so you can see which region is which while you paint.

You seta base colour and finish for the body, and a separate colour and finish for the floor, edges and aero parts, because the game keeps those on a different material. The finishes are matte, shiny, gloss, chrome and carbon fibre, and you can set them per layer, not only on the whole car.

For sponsors there is a searchable library with 3400+ brands in it. You can upload your own PNG, or copy a logo from anywhere and press Ctrl+V on the page and it drops in as a layer. Text and shapes work the same way.

To place something you press "Place in 3D" and click the spot on the car where you want it. It works out the UV coordinates itself. After that you get scale, rotate, offset and opacity sliders, and the car updates while you drag them. There is a "create opposite-side copy" checkbox, so you do one sidepod and the other side matches. That is the thing that used to eat my evenings.

The base and any layer can take a second colour with its own finish if you want a fade. There is also an inspiration list of complete fantasy team designs, in case starting from a white car puts you off.

When you are done you save the project as a JSON file so you can reopen it later, and you export the mod ZIP. The ZIP goes into the Simplified Launcher mods folder without being extracted, with SERPs Base Files selected next to it. The full install flow is written out at racelivery.studio/how-to.

There is a community page as well. Designs people publish show up there, and you can open any of them and carry on editing your own copy.

Three things that look like bugs and are not. The floor and the small aero parts ignore your body colour, they sit on the aero control. White chrome can come out almost black in game, because chrome reflects the environment, so use gloss if you want it to stay white. And if two selected mods replace the same MyTeam files you will keep seeing the old livery.

Not affiliated with EA, Codemasters or Team Simplified. It just writes files their launcher understands.
