ROTTMNT Turtle Face Claims

Leo as Zion Suzuki

Ralph as Rui Hachimura

Donnie as Tyler James Williams

Mikey as Cameron Boyce

My end goal for these face claims was to show the diversity of biracial siblings, and of course capturing the Turtles' likeness.

Edit: Don't vent about wanting the Turtles to be solely Japanese American here when the point of these face claims was to highlight the diversity of being biracial. There's many ways you can share your frustrations than venting under random fan's posts who have no impact on the overall franchise portrayals of the Turtles' identities. Go vent to past comic and show runners about the lack of proper representation. Blasians deserve rep too and shouldn't have one of their identities overlooked because people are choosing one over the other.

Big Mama's Full Course for Candy Addicts (CW: Eyestrain and Body horror)

A few days ago I listened to Machigerita's "Full Course for Candy Addicts" song for the first time and it reminded me of Big Mama.

I know in comparison, I could have done a lot more to reference the original music's art, but I'm satisfied with what I pushed myself to do. Maybe the more Machigerita songs I listen to, I might have an interest in revisiting this piece some time in the future again.

Sunita x Jeremy Art

I know I've been posting here semi-frequently and that's because I already made those fanworks a few day prior to posting here. This artwork though, I did make last night. I've been lucky in not aggravating my chronic wrist pain too much lately, so I'm able to have more dexterity for creative activities!

Anyways, I decided to draw a niche ROTTMNT ship that I've taken a liking too as of recent. In one of my AUs, Sunita and Jeremy do get together around their mid to late 20s. I just thought it would've been cute to draw ship art in their canonical ages.

Highschool Sunita AU design (Screenschot edit/Redraw)

This design is from my one of many ROTTMNT AUs. The initial cast of kids, now aged up to late teens and adults, will receive redesigns too. Not sure when though-

Sunita is my favorite character from Rise. I hope I captured her future fashion style well.

Edit: Reddit crunched the quality of the fanart 😭.

Fanart for "Cloak and Swagger" Side characters + Jason and Sunita comic

I recently got back into Rise again and wanted to draw background character designs I really adored from "Cloak and Swagger" specifically.

I really adore the art in ROTTMNT. It's probably one of the franchises best artistic iteration with Mutant Mayhem coming second.

The last photo is proof of creation.

Has anyone, specifically artists, feel like they've outgrown the internet?

I think this is the best place to post this.

Lately I realize I'm just outgrown the internet. When I was younger, I used to constantly be on it and post art. Two big motivators were boredom and loneliness which up until this point were very hard for me. I'm slowly reconnecting with more analog media and discovering new ways I can meet artists in my area. This isn't to say these problems have gone away but thankfully as I grew older: I managed to get a better grip on them.

This has started to make me very introspective with my life online and I feel conflicted. I am very happy that it is a sign I'm getting healthier and finally living life. On the other hand: now it does feel strange to slowly part ways with something that was once so integral to your life and I don't think I'll completely leave it just yet.

I would still like to be in touch with fan culture a bit and I do want to share some art and stories that I'm creating.

I know this probably sounds goofy, but it is still weird to me, especially with my relation to art. Not posting everything I made, using time to focus on improving and exploring again, and most likely posting what/when I feel like or when a project is close to finishing (because of potential spoilers and draft vs final reasons). I would be lying if this change doesn't make me a little bit sad, but not only is it healthier but: actually similar to how I used to post when I was very young as opposed to my late teenage years where I was happier with creating and myself as a whole.
