Ripley makes friends with a horse!

WARNING Don't try this at home! Horses can be really unpredictable, letting Ripley get this close was done over like 20 minutes of watching them interact distantly through the fence and petting the horse and judging how friendly and chill it was, and even then it was probably a risky move. But I just couldn't resist...

Ripley goes to Mackinac Island!

Fyi the Grand Hotel has the most insane ceramic Pekingese collection I've ever seen. And apparently Ripley absolutely adores horses? Like a true deep fascination love and patience when interacting with all horses. She was in heaven. This might be her favorite trip yet!

Ripley's vacation to the UP!

Beach babe Ripley had another luxurious vacation, this time in the upper peninsula of Michigan. She got to eat delicious lake perch and trout, chase all the beach gulls, run off leash on her own private sand bar island, look at some neat art, and then road trip it back home to absolutely pass out for 10 straight hours 😂 She's so good at vacationing I'm ready to Retire y'all, just so I can spend every single day showing her the world and making her happy.

Pray for me! Lunch break rudly interrupted by bed bug

Was finally enjoying my lunch break at 0200, hanging in my fave spot, comfy lounge chair outside the closed cafeteria, when a little brown friend appeared on my hand. Almost flicked it off but fortunately I did a double take. Extra terrible because I'm already itchy and covered in mosquito bites from a BBQ a couple days ago. So of course I had to lable and stand charge over the chair in question until EVS showed up. Stopped two people from sitting down before I had to make this sign. Stripped down and shivering up in triage without my fleece now rocking our paper thin temp scrubs 😭 burning my scrubs the second I get home.

New pet peve "vintage" with the tag cut out

I see a dress, the silhouette looks kind of cute, the listing title says "vintage '90s dress" which is what makes up most of my wardrobe, and the algorithm knows this. Sometimes I'll pick up something made more recently under the same aesthetic umbrella, recognizable brands that are at least decent quality. But fast fashion clothes from the 2010s when grunge and '90s stuff was retrending, is not what I am about. Ever. Paper thin fabric that washes poorly and hangs all wrong. Prints and cuts that are just slightly off. Things that are hard to see through a phone. So I zoom in to get a better look, and the brand tag is cut out. At least they left the content tag on this one.

Y'all, you may be fooling some people, but this is just straight scamming. Please do not put the word vintage anywhere in your listing unless you are sure! There are plenty of other words to describe something that looks like it might be from the past, " grunge" " '90s aesthetic" " retro, not sure if actual vintage" But vintage this is not. I dread the day when peak fast fashion era technically counts as vintage. I doubt most of that trash will survived that many years but you just know they're trash bags of these clothes sitting unworn in someone's closet.
