Recs for panel vs mask
Hi RLT community!
I’m looking into red light for a few different “ailments.” F30
I have some sort of autoimmune disorder—my doctors haven’t figured it out yet. Symptoms are chronic fatigue, brain fog, inflammation, joint pain, and mild acne/skin issues like redness and more pustules than acne (like bumpy).
I’m looking for ideally a panel to target more than just the face (arms, chest, and back too), but I want the benefits of the mask if there are any that the panel will target.
My main knowledge right now is from a really in-depth article I read about led masks.
“For the most part, you want to look for an LED device that has BOTH red (typically 633nm, but somewhere between 630-660nm) and NIR (look for 820-840nm, with 830nm being the gold standard) in order to have a positive impact on your skin”
“Three wavelengths of light that have demonstrated several therapeutic applications are blue (e.g., 415nm), red (e.g., 633nm), and near-infrared (e.g., 830nm)”.
I’m wondering if there is kind of a one-size-fits-those-two-quotes-above for me. Is there a panel that hits 415nm, 633nm, and 830nm? And if so, is there a not terribly pricey one out there? Looking to not entirely break the bank especially cause I’m still a tiny bit skeptical about it all lol. I’ve seen a lot of the Hooga (sp?) panels and the CurrentBody mask. Could I get a mask and use it wrapped around my arms or laid across my chest? Idk!!!
There are SO many options and SO many recommendations that say the one they chose is the best and better than the other best. Which one is it!!!!!
Thank you in advance! I am so bad at skincare and self-care!! :)
