Clarification about the first post I made

Here is the link (I'm not deleting my post because I think your comments were informative and did debunk my post): https://www.reddit.com/r/ValkoHQ/comments/1v7eu5t/what_do_you_guys_think_of_this_cn_media/

I want to apologize for my post because I did not know the whole story. I tend to be more skeptical of positive news, but in this case people were right, it was old news. I did not see these posts on X at the time, so I was not aware that it had been debunked (the previous posts I'd seen debunking it were very word of mouth). I was also unaware about how publishing media such as this works.

However, my post aside, I still stand by what I've said in previous comments because at times this sub does seem a bit like an echochamber and very Western-centric when it comes to analyzing why Infold did x thing or why Valko will/won't come back etc, and I wish these things could be discussed more without so much downvoting (debunking is good though).

For example, I've seen posts in the past that said that Valko would definitely come back because it makes sense financially (a very Western take), but then completely neglected to factor in the CN government and how that could complicate things. And when someone tried to debunk that...downvotes. I think the term 'fearmongering' gets thrown around too much as well. It's discouraging. I guess I'm disillusioned with this sub and I wonder if some other Valko fans here feel the same way. Maybe I'm the only one though.

Also, I want to reiterate; I am NOT an anti. Not everyone that has a more negative take is an anti, and treating us as such just divides and drives us away (we all agree that we want Valko back anyway). I was devastated when Valko was removed and stopped eating and sleeping properly for two weeks. I stopped looking for jobs. My family got very concerned. I'm still boycotting and even though I'm a Raf main I refuse to pull for his myth even though I'd been saving up for months (I had like 200 wishes saved up for him + Caleb). I'd be super happy if Valko came back, I just sometimes feel like it's all hopeless.

Why I think Seven Havens is relevant right now as a show

I’ve seen some people say that they dislike the setting of Seven Havens and that parts of the Avatar world shouldn’t have been destroyed for the show. But I think that the setting is actually very relatable and relevant considering the looming threat that we have to deal with nowadays: climate change.

I don’t know if anyone has made this connection before, but to me it seems plausible. For example, I live in a first world country that will nevertheless be one of the most affected of its region and is right now dealing with an insane amount of wildfires. These wildfires are not common in the areas they are in right now, which means that more parts of my country are at risk of being dangerous for people to live in. And around two years ago we had a devastating flood the likes of which we had never seen before in that area (floods happened but not to that degree), and many people died. Homes were destroyed. The area became near uninhabitable. This has become the new normal. And in the following decades, scientists say most of my country will become a desert and uninhabitable in the summertime. And this is a first world country, so you can imagine what will happen to other countries with less resources. People will have to move to more habitable areas of the world despite their homes and countries of origin having been habitable for centuries before climate change.

In this way, Seven Havens makes a lot of sense. The world is a dangerous, uninhabitable place, and only seven areas of the world (seven havens) are safe for humans to live in. I saw someone theorize somewhere that in Korra’s time, people may have used the spirits vines for greedy and nefarious reasons which might have forced Korra to do what she did or there would have been worse consequences. The culprit will not be Korra but human greed, which again, is painfully familiar. That is why I’m excited for this show. I really think this setting is much more relatable than ATLA and TLOK right now.

I don’t know if anyone has made this connection before but I just thought it was worth mentioning.

We could have had a spicy banner if it weren't for Valko getting cancelled

I just realized that after the introduction of a new character, we usually get a spicy banner that goes beyond anything we've had and now I'm even more mad at this whole mess. After Sylus, we got Misty Invasion which I think depicted the first time between Rafayel and MC, and also Zayne and Sylus. After Caleb, we got Catch-22 which to this day is legendary and featured BDSM and yandere elements.

Consider this: Lingering Lust was so spicy everyone was shocked and very pleasantly surprised. It was so spicy they had to use stick figures for the trailers and get creative with Chinese characters. SO IMAGINE WHAT WE COULD HAVE HAD POST VALKO. Not only would we have gotten a spicy Valko card at some point, but maybe it would have been even spicier than Lingering Lust. It would have been incredible. Everyone would be opening their freaking wallets. And now due to what happened, I don't think we'll ever get that because we may get censorship in future banners. Infold will try to play it safe because they might get reported again (look at what happened to Snowbreak, I can see some people being petty enough to do this) . I'm so mad.

Is this an empty socket?

Yesterday night my extraction site looked like the first image, and now it looks like the following images. Does the extraction site look normal? I’m not sure if the white stuff is the blood clot or leftover food. It’s the 4th day post surgery.

Edit: I was gently pulling my inner mouth in the last pics to make the extraction site more visible which is why there seems to be more space in the stitches 😓
