A year ago today I picked up my first cross stitch at a thrift store for $1.99, I’d done a lot of diamond painting in the past so I figured why not. I am disabled so getting out of bed and doing diamond painting was not feasible some days. By the end of these little mushrooms I was completely hooked! A craft that I can make in bed, create beautiful things, AND give me a sense of accomplishment? Count me in! (Although I will say the project on slide 12 tested my sanity I will never do another pattern from this seller ever again🫩)

I have been shown so much kindness on this sub for the last year and I just wanted to extend my deepest gratitude. On bad pain days y’all’s comments made me smile, and I can’t thank you enough for that💖

It’s finally done! Take it from me do NOT buy DMC Aida! I put this project aside countless times bc it was such a nightmare to stitch. The original pattern had white sparkles, but white Aida didn’t show them. And when I’m doing confetti stitches I’d like to be able to see them! So I struggled through DMC diamanté gold, and as much as I hated it good GOD was it worth it!

Totally forgot to post this when I finished it but goodness GRACIOUS it is beautiful! I know it’s hard to see but it is on light green Aida so it’s like a dragon garden! As always I cannot recommend Flossy Fox Shop enough, every single pattern she drops is beautiful! And as soon as she drops another SAL I shall be the FIRST buyer! My favorite is probably the sunflower dragon, while I did modify the pattern to reflect my sweet kitty instead. And yes of course I added a pic for the cat tax🥰 lemme know what yall think! 💖
