Big beautiful bill going to make me big beautiful bkill myself

$20,500 grad plus cap per year makes any masters education unattainable without shady private $million+ APR lenders. even then you need a great line of credit and have to bring your parents/peers credit into jeopardy with co-signing. pushing us to work more mechanically must be working. may be wrong but needed to get ts off my chest

I am going to IE University this September for a dual-degree masters program and was going to take out a loan to help fund my studies.

As my family and those accessible around me have not done this before, I am figuring it out all independently. I am trying to educate myself on pulling out a loan for studying and living in Spain for 2 years, but figured it may be helpful to ask those who are completing/have completed a situation similar to me.

Any US loan source recommendations? How was the process? What amount worked for you? I was thinking of pulling out around $170k to cover tuition and living for those 2 years. Given this won't take place in the US, I need to take out private loans. Looking for sources that helped for you and your large sums.

My total tuition in USD is almost $80k and I was reading that around $2,926/mo (2500 euros) is reasonable for living. Since I will be there for 2 years I estimated that I should get around $170k USD loans.

For those that have completed their program already, how is your repayment process going?

Also applying for a student visa and and navigating that process independently as well, so advice on providing proof of funding that is viable for an end of May/June appointment would be really helpful!

Thanks :)

**I posted this in another subreddit regarding student loans, but was told that asking those in the medical field may be more helpful as you guys are more experienced in taking out larger sums for post-undergrad education.
