Question so how much should you uesd a wired brush if at all then preparing walnuts

My first pair was pre-clean so I just played it, now I got a new pair that is not per-clean along with Nano and a wired brush. Do I ueds the wired until all of the white frost is gone or just some of the way then switch to nano for the rest?
