Najpovoljnije cene alkohola?
Hvalaa

I used to play it in middle school and I was devastated when they shut it down 🥲 now I find out they shut down the fb version too which, granted, I never even played because I found it nowhere near as enjoyable. I’ve always wondered why it shut down in the first place since it seemed successful to me…it was so ahead of its time. I still miss it from time to time ngl.
Pozeljno NS. Hvalaa
Hi everyone. I posted here a few days ago, but I wanted to ask about others' experiences because I've consulted several acquaintances-doctors who don't seem concerned, but I'm a bit worried.
I'm 6 days post-op from a laparoscopic surgery, and my pain honestly hasn't improved at all since day 2. If anything, today has been one of the more painful days.
I have throbbing pain, especially around my belly button incision. The left incision (where my drain was) is redder than the others and hurts the most to the touch. I also have pain when I pee, which I assume is coming from my bladder (or maybe another nearby organ?). On top of that, I've been getting intense pains which I assume are gas pains that are excruciating as they move through my intestines. They haven’t been that painful while I was still in hospital days 1-3. Other than that I have a dull pain all over my abdomen more or less 24/7.
Is this still normal 6 days after surgery? When did you start noticing a real improvement in your pain? Over-the-counter painkillers I’ve been told to take haven't helped. For a reference, I've mostly been resting, staying inside because of the heatwave, and walking around the house for about 1,000–2,000 steps a day. I really don’t do much because I’m uncomfortable.
I'd really appreciate hearing about your experiences.
Probably a stupid question but my old windows pc died and currently I only have my macbook air m1. I bought a few old horse games on steam (let’s ride etc etc) but looks like I can’t run them because I don’t have windows? Also I wanted to download my horse and me from the old games website but that probably can’t run on my mac either I suppose? Is there any way around this or do I have to buy another older pc? Any advice?
Hi everybody, I wanted to share my experience with taking Ryeqo since when I was researching the drug I could barely find any info on it since it still new and under review.
You can read my full treatment journey in my previous post, but this one is specifically dedicated to Ryeqo.
First off, there’s a huge supply issue with it where I live and I struggled to obtain it in Pharmacies. Also, it’s very expensive. My gyno/surgeon prescribed to me for 2 months together with Myosens forte as a temporary measure in preparation for a future myomectomy, in order to increase the odds of doing a laparoscopy instead of open surgery.
I was pretty anxious about taking it as it can have plenty of side effects, either way, I gave it a go and started taking it during my period as recommended.
The side effects I experienced were: pretty strong but bearable migraines which I easily combated with ibuprofen. Later on they appeared less frequently. Hot flashes which unfortunately didn’t decrease over time, however it didn’t affect my quality of life that much. Lowered/non existent libido which didn’t bother me as I’ve been single forever so I actually enjoyed my frigid life in peace. I actually even miss that part, however I assume it could cause issues for people in relationships. No periods or ovulation which is the part that I miss most. I had a plethora of issues with my cycle due to fibroids and all of them were gone within a month thanks to this medication. I had never been on any hormonal type of therapy prior such as birth control so this was my first experience with something like that.
After 2 months of taking the meds I went back for a checkup and my fibroid shrunk from 7 to 6cm. My doctor suggested I continue taking the meds for another month and that we should schedule surgery, however I would need to stop taking Ryeqo a month before the surgery. Unfortunately, the whole process got delayed so I ended up not taking Ryeqo a whole 2 months before my scheduled surgery because it was scheduled on short notice and after it was supposed to be. So basically I was taking Ryeqo for 2 months, then another month and then I rawdogged 2 months before my surgery with again, horrible periods, which even caused me to feel ptsd-like emotions because I dreaded every period for a long time.
At the moment I’m recovering from surgery and I will consult my doctor on future steps at my check up in a month.
TLDR: Ryeqo greatly relieved my fibroid-caused symptoms and my personal experience is positive
Hi everyone, I accidentally stumbled across this subreddit and thought I'd share my experience in case it helps someone.
A little background (you can skip this part):
I found out I had small fibroids in late 2023 during my routine annual gynecological checkup. My gynecologist told me they needed to be monitored with an ultrasound every six months. Unfortunately, the diagnosis gave me so much anxiety that I ended up avoiding follow-up appointments for almost two years, not to mention I didn’t have an appropriate support system at all to help me handle the news. I was also only 24 at that time.
By early-mid 2025, I started noticing symptoms: pelvic pressure, much heavier periods (they had always been moderate before), periods lasting longer than usual, cramping even outside of my period, lower back pain, frequent urination, abdominal bloating, and occasionally irregular cycle, although I didn't immediately connect them to the fibroids towards the end of 2025.
I finally went back for another ultrasound in November last year, but the appointment ended up being far more traumatic than I expected. Instead of calmly explaining the situation, my gynecologist scolded me for missing my follow-up appointments, audibly gasped while doing the ultrasound, told me I needed surgery as soon as possible, and even said I might need to have my uterus removed. The fibroid was approx 7x6cm which she said was huge and it was intramural/at the back wall of the uterus. She suggested what my next steps should be, recommend a few surgeons and I left.
The way she delivered the news absolutely terrified me. After seeing her for many years, I decided that appointment would be my last with her, I left the office completely devastated and cried my eyes out, which is very unlike me.
Immediately after the appointment I started doing more in-depth research about fibroids and the surgeons she recommended and after experiencing information fatigue, I decided to go with a younger surgeon who does both private practice and works at the city hospital who has plenty of experience with fibroids and laparoscopic surgery.
December 2025-May 2026 and my surgery preparation:
I scheduled an appointment with the surgeon and went in for another ultrasound. Thankfully, we clicked right away, and I immediately felt reassured by his approach. He confirmed that surgery was necessary, but instead of rushing into it, he suggested a plan to maximize the chances of doing it laparoscopically rather than through open surgery since it’s less invasive and he didn’t want to damage the cavum of my uterus given the fact that I was very young, so he prescribed Myosens Forte and Ryeqo for two months (you can look up the meds but if anyone is interested, I'm happy to go into more detail about these medications and my experience with them, including the side effects). The goal was to shrink the fibroids before surgery and alleviate my symptoms, making a laparoscopic procedure more likely. I took that medication for 2 months and felt a huge relief, as most of my symptoms were gone and I enjoyed not having periods which have been very dreadful for me but especially as of late.
After 2 months, in February of this year I went for a check up and the doc confirmed that the fibroids shrinked down to 6 from 7cm. He suggested I either keep taking the medication and monitoring the fibroid or go for surgery, saying he would most likely be able to do it laparoscopically but given the size he cannot promise that - (I must add I’m not 100% sure why everyone was scaring me about its size since I see many ladies on here mention theirs were much bigger than mine? But that’s besides the point). I continued with the meds for another month and then in May I started the process of gathering documents and doing necessary health test for the surgery, which unfortunately took a month longer than intended due to error and miscommunication from the hospital staff (and partially my surgeon). This time period was pretty frustrating to say the least, because I had to find out a lot of stuff on my own instead of being told what to do. I never had any major surgery, I never stayed in a hospital for several days before and I was never under general anesthesia so I didn’t know the ins and outs of that whole process.
The documentation I needed was as follows: ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate), Red Blood Cell Count (RBC), Hemoglobin (Hb), Hematocrit (Hct), White Blood Cell Count (WBC), Blood Glucose, Urea, Platelet Count, Bleeding Time, Clotting Time (Coagulation Time), Electrolytes, Total Protein, Fibrinogen, Blood Group (ABO) and Rh Factor, HBsAg (Hepatitis B Surface Antigen), Urinalysis, Vaginal/Cervical Swab for Bacterial Culture, Internal Medicine Examination, Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG)
Finally, the surgery itself 24/6/26
I was admitted to hospital a day prior, at 7 pm. I was only allowed to eat mashed potatoes and chicken broth that same day at noon and from there on drink water till midnight. The following day, day of surgery, I had to get up at 5 am, put on my medical compression stockings and I was scheduled for surgery at 8 am that morning. I was terribly hungry and anxious to say the least, but honestly I tried to disassociate to cope. At 7.30 am they took me to a room next to the operating room for IV and some other pre-op fluids and soon after I was taken to the operating room. Important sidenote, unfortunately since the surgery schedule was packed due to summer holidays, my documentation process taking longer than it should, my surgeon on choice going on holiday that week, I was transferred to another surgeon of his choice. Long story, but in short, he’s a jerk but very skilled and connections had come into play for my whole surgery stay. This put another huge layer of mental load on me, obviously.
Post-op
Surgery was less than an hour, however I woke up around 11.30am (at least that I remember) in the ICU. I had 3 incision sites (in my belly button, and on either sides of my pelvis), a Foley catheter and a Douglas drain in the left incision which is the biggest one. The right one is the smallest and it’s pretty tiny. The next 24hours were pretty terrible, not gonna lie. Basically I kept drifting in and out of sleep the whole time, my abdomen didn’t hurt per se but it was incredibly sore and I could barely move. I remember my whole body hurting because I was in the same position the whole time and I kept moving my legs to try and relieve the uncomfortableness at least a bit. Unfortunately I was unable to sit up or stand up as I was incredibly dizzy and nauseous at times. I ended up throwing up two times and one of the times it was over myself because I couldn’t move enough to the side of the bed. Unfortunately, although most of the staff I encountered were polite, the nurses in the ICU were pretty unhelpful which bothered me because I was helpless and not fully even conscious and I couldn’t advocate for myself like I would’ve had that not been the case. I was on IV the whole time and on pain meds. I didn’t eat or drink at all.
Day after surgery I was deemed well enough to go back to the regular hospital block where I initially stayed the day prior to surgery. My catheter was removed (thankfully as it bothered me a lot) and the removal process was mildly painful. I still had to keep the drain and I would like to mention that it was very disturbing having to look at it. Finally I could stand up so my next 24 hours were spent by getting up to use the bathroom every hour, being on IV and drinking water and eating very light food and snack, and being on the phone. I was still on pain meds, but not as strong.
At last, the following day I was released from hospital at 2pm and went home. Surprisingly, the removal of the drain was less painful than I expected and less painful than catheter removal. I’ve been home for two days so far and my recovery has been looking like this so far: I haven’t left the house at all because it’s too hot and I’m not supposed to move a lot and honestly I’m a bit afraid to as well, I do have an appetite but I do not feel hunger like I used to. I eat 1-2x a day, one larger or two smaller meals. I’m drinking water and mostly lying in bed under the AC. I take quick showers and I go to the hairdresser in my building to wash my hair. It hurts when I’m sitting down more that when I’m standing up or lying down. Getting up or down or any other similar activity hurts more, obviously. Regarding pain levels, the first 24hours after surgery have been absolutely terrible for me and afterwards I felt much better in comparison but it stayed the same more or less since then. I’ve been prescribed antibiotics, probiotics and blood thinner prescription injectables for use at home for the next ~10 days.
Overall I must say most people (friends, family etc) were sort of downplaying this whole surgery for me, imo. I feel like my anxiety was justified even though everything went pretty smoothly, as much as it can. It’s not a lay down-get up sort of thing at all. My abdomen is sore, swollen and bruised.
Currently I am wondering when I will be back on track to function normally, go to the gym and how my periods will look from now on, since they were greatly affected by my diagnosis. I’m also not sure when I will be able to go back to work as it very uncomfortable to sit down for me. I read it can take upwards of 12 weeks for the body to go back to normal after a surgery like this, which is a lot. Also, I really hope the fibroids won’t come back because I know they often do and I will talk to my doctor about what I can do to avoid that outcome. He told me to visit him in a month for a check up. Otherwise, I’m scheduled to get my stitches out next week.
That’s basically it. If you have any thoughts or questions I’m happy to answer!
P.S. I attached (non-graphic) photos for you of my incisions and abdomen overall in case you were curious. Please ignore the dog hair and glue residue, I’m unable to clean it thoroughly enough as of yet.
Hvala 🌸🙏🏼
