edit: so i did indeed find out. i’m actually starting bands of mourning right now and i’m about 10% through that! i can’t wait to continue

i’m looking for a book where a girl was hit by a bus and somehow turned into a cat. she could understand every language as a cat, and she used to be a bully as a human. she was in a country during a war with a young boy, and he would sing something that annoyed her because it reminded her of something her teachers used to say, i think. she saved him in the end. i think it was YA, because i remember reading it in 4th or 5th grade.

personally, i just came back from church camp today (with no phone) to a new phoebe bridgers single and album announcement, going to her tour for my birthday. man life is good! i hope all of y’all are doing well too.
