First I thought the one on the left might be a US/World Tour version as opposed to the one on the right that says "European Tour", then I remembered there was no world/US tour in '86. So why two versions of the European programme? Did different countries print their own?
Are there any other tours that have various versions of the programme?
...for a time I've barely experienced. Which is silly because it's so great to be able to be informed instantly and access videos and music anywhere in the world. No waiting months for a newsletter or a tape that you swapped! But I guess there a certain charm to receiving a physical newsletter or a pen pal's handwritten letter.
Also, the band seem so nice! They wrote letters for every issue, there are competitions where sometimes the winners get to spend time with the band (!), they sign children's drawings, basically they seem to care about the fans and to be generous of their time in between busy schedules.
They even turned up (minus Freddie) at the fan club's 1988 Christmas Party - Roger played a set with The Cross, then was joined by John and Brian. What a Christmas present!

It just really makes me laugh.
Brian on Scandal: This song meant a lot to me. I wrote it because of how the press was destroying us and all of our loved ones. I felt strongly about this.
Roger: Boring video, boring song. I just remember being bored.
Brian on Who Wants To Live Forever: This song meant a lot to me. I was going through a very difficult time in my life. There's a lot of emotion in this song. And we had an orchestra!
Roger: Didn't like the orchestra. My outfit is terrible and I think I was drunk. I like my hair though.
Brian on The Miracle: This was fun! The kids were brilliant. This is one of my favourite songs. It's amazing how Freddie, in his state, wrote this lovely, joyful song about a miracle.
Roger: No, it's too naive. Not for me.
I'm very much looking forward to watching the rest of the videos 😄
Benoît Clerc's book says the band went to Musicland in June 1981 where they recorded a few songs, then "in July 1981, the musicians moved to Mountain Studios in Montreux where they met David Bowie". Then "they returned to Munich in January 1982 to finish work on [Hot Space]".
But when I look at the details of each song, according to the book every single one of was "Recorded at Musicland Studios", with the sole exception of Under Pressure. So what did they record in Montreux? Only Under Pressure?
I just wanted to share my excitement 🪄
Hi all, I'm looking for something a bit more active than this sub in terms of fan discussions, but I'm not on Facebook or any other socials. I've heard of an official Discord server but given the amount of members I don't think I'd feel able to participate. I'd like something that feels more like a community. Does anyone have any links, if such a thing exists? Also is there a typical age demographics on Discord? (I'm 38 - too old?)
Thanks in advance :)
Hi everyone! I've noticed a "beep" at the start of Drowse (14 seconds in), does anyone know what it is?
I've also read that right at the end, after "who else do I like", Roger says "Brian May" - is this true? I can't actually hear it, so I'm wondering whether my earphones (and hearing) are crap or if it's simply not there and just a figment of someone's imagination.
I think this song is beautiful, by the way. And it amazes me that this poetic, nostalgic meditation was written by someone who was barely 30 at the time.
I'm kind of new to Queen, only knew the hits up to recently and I've been really enjoying exploring their entire discography and discovering many little gems like this one.
Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm a new fan! I really got into Queen just a few weeks ago and I am bingeing my way through all of their music + videos, concerts and interviews. I saw a YouTube compilation of "bloopers" from outtakes etc. and I'm wondering where they're all from.
I know about The Miracle Collector's Edition but I'm looking for more, like the Queen equivalent of the Beatles Anthology, is there such a thing?

Thank you!
Hi,
When I'm writing an email and filling in the "To" field, the autofill used to suggest the email addresses I've recently exchanged with, which is fine. Now however, it's suggesting people I don't want to hear about from years and years ago. Very unpleasant. Selecting the X next to the autosuggestion doesn't seem to work, they keep coming back. I've just been through my contacts list and deleted all those old contacts and yet they are still being suggested?! Does anyone know how to fix this?
I am using the online version on my laptop and the app on my phone - same issue with both.
Asking as a newbie to trains in the South of England. I hope someone can help. In terms of comfort, which would you say is better: Southern service from Victoria, or SWR service from Waterloo? Or some other option? I don't mind paying more if it means I can have a more relaxed trip.
Reliability would be good too of course but it wouldn't bother me too much if the train is a bit late as this is a holiday. I won't have luggage or anything with me other than a backpack, I just need to be sure that I'll have a seat, and ideally that the 2 hour journey won't feel like absolute hell (e.g. too crowded, air con set to Arctic mode/unbearably hot train, toilets out of order)
