While researching a video project, I went down a rabbit hole and found this.
I was working on a video project about English football throughout the year and learned about the wild world of English plaques. This one in particular got my attention for its nonchalant statement.
Many people know jiu-jitsu or some form of self-defense. What could be so special about this specific person?
This led me to discover a super interesting and important woman in British history who kept making me think, "Somebody better notify Tor Parsons about this."
So I decided to share this here to hopefully give a notification for a potential future project.
My Best Attempt to Map The English Football Pyramid.
Just wanted to share this as the Timbers win helped Seattle in their quest to do something big!
Some context:
The last week or so I have been researching each teams chance of creating a bingo (similar to the grand slam champion concept in pro wrestling.)
The five categories are as follows:
- League championships (Win Both MLS Cup and Shield)
- CONCACAF Championship (Superliga, CCC, or Interamericana)
- Inter-League Championship (Leagues Cup or Campeones Cup)
- Domestic Championship (US Open Cup, Canadian Championship)
- How We Reward Losers (The Anthony Precourt Memorial Wooden Spoon)
Seattle, if they get the wooden spoon, will be the first MLS team to accomplish this feat.
Yes, there are other teams who can get a bingo as well (Columbus, DC, and Carson City), but they will have to wait till next season before they have the opportunity to complete their card.
I am not a Sounders or Timbers fan, but I just wanted to share this as a thank you for your team's contribution on Seattle's quest for greatness.
Also, my brother was a huge hellraiser fan and seeing the tifo made me and my parents very happy!
