I feed cheated by Zomato

I had ordered prepaid food around 12 PM, and it was supposed to arrive by 1 PM. However, the delivery agent did not deliver the food. Instead, the app started showing the order as “delivered” or “delivery successful.”

I called the delivery agent to understand the situation, but out of nowhere, he started misbehaving with me and told me to pick up the order myself from another location that was around 2–3 km away from me. He then cut the call and never delivered the order.

I raised a complaint through the Zomato app, but it was of no use. They said they could not connect with the delivery agent and therefore could not do anything about it.

After some time, I raised another complaint, and again they gave the same response. After that, my complaints stopped getting registered altogether, and now I cannot even raise a complaint through the app.

I could not find any customer care number, so I wrote an email to them. They replied saying that the order is showing as “successfully delivered” from their side, and therefore they cannot do anything. How is this even possible? I am not asking for anything extra. I just want my money refunded for the food I never received. As a loyal customer and a student, I feel cheated out of my money by the company.

With no other option in hand, i had to make this isuue in public forum I have attached screenshots and other details to this post.

Please suggest what I should do now.
