A strange song called Believe Me

This is a softer but darker version of a song I was working on for my band. Thanks for listening, feedback will be appreciated

Lyrics

Dawn on the highway, bleeding on the floor
Satans echoing laughter, beating on the door
Believe me darling, I fear that you won’t
And you’ll go with the others and I’ll go on alone

Believe me darling

Storm hits the highway, and I hit the floor
Satans echoing laughter, is louder than before
Believe me darling, I soak in the blood
But the rain washes off me, and nails into the mud

Believe me darling

Heat by the fire, as you’re pale and faint
I’m glued beside you, for you to lean against
Please believe me, find yourself in my mind
Don’t leave me, my bed is yours tonight

Please believe me

Figures in the window, scratches on the door
Their footprints are left, where they stand no more
Please believe me, leave me alone
I don’t want to see you and I fear that I won’t

Please believe me

They scream and kick, abuse themselves below
But we can burn the bridges around our hidden home
Please believe me, you’re welcome

Please believe me

Hello, I am not a singer but I like to write and sing anyway. Sorry about the voice volume. All feedback welcome especially on the lyrics. Also anyone know why my guitar is humming or shining or something haha

Lyrics:

Etching corrections into the stars

Convince you of memory, perhaps from the start

Emergency exits, left in a daze

A creature belonging to the purple haze

The moon is a magnet, that strings along

Moments to moments and nights into dawns

Streaks of moonshine, may shadow your brain

To bring back a moment, in the purple haze

Street shadows dancing, in your poisoned mind

Drawing her outline, in the darkness behind

The cigarette falls, away from her face

The smoke is glowing, in the purple haze

Dreams so vivid, more convincing than most

Almost a haunting, if you weren’t alone

Whatever happens, you can let it stay

There’s always a moment, in the purple haze
