Hai. I recently started a new job this May, 3 weeks into the job, I didnt get offer letter yet nor do i sign anything. I tried asking the company for offer letter, they said just to wait.

So today, i received another job offer from another company that I went for interview last month. I am thinking to take this offer as the salary is 800myr higher, there are allowances, commission, parking, medical benefits. My current job offers none of those, that’s why Im thinking of switching.

My question is, do I need to tender an formal/official resignation if technically Im still on my first month probation and have yet to receive offer letter. Thank you.
