Monomas will legitimately pull up to spam ANYTHING or do their 500 damage electrification combo or do combos with every characters BEST MOVE and then be like “can we get our 20% damage back 🥺”

When yellow endeavor was just released, who did you see alongside him? MONOMA

Now that support twice is around and has another COMPLETELY INVINCIBLE OPTION TO ABUSE who’s right there to abuse it? MONOMA

Who’s in your games in the final circle spamming strike shiggy beta, Tech AFO gamma and tech shiggy alpha? MONOMA

Who third parties a fight or takes a 1v1 and spam refreshes his gamma iframes whenever he can’t use his aoe slop? MONOMA

He’s the MOST ANNOYING, MOST OBNOXIOUS, MOST PISS ME OFFIEST CHARACTER IN THE GAME

Why would they EVER buff this character??

I just hit ace rank and, unfortunately, I had to swap to another character for the final grind. Assault and Support Overhaul just couldn’t get it done for me.

I ended up just using assault deku and I realized how much I ADORE his gamma. It got me thinking “Are there any other moves I’d love a ton that I never get to use because I always instalock overhaul?”

Does anybody else have suggestions for moves that are super satisfying to use or even tunings that are overlooked but super fun?

Personally, I think it’s garbage. Red Kiri has no counter play. YAFO gamma has been plaguing my games.

And who doesn’t love an indirect buff to blue deku? 😃 (who doesn’t even suffer because his stupid alpha still hard knocks through armor)

Have you ever wanted to suffer? Play a game of shinso. Somehow he’s gotten like 3 indirect nerfs this season. (Iframes are lasting longer on wake-up, Mirko’s tuning messes up his gameplan a ton, tether grabs no longer work on super armor)

Can we please just gut rapid deku already?

like listen i know it’s great for a quick reset in a fight but GOD IS IT CLUNKY

you have to PRAY that you actually get the heal off if you run willpower instead of just dropping dead because it CANCELS YOUR IFRAMES AND THEN HEALS YOU

and don’t even get me started on trying to use to it to break out of attacks.

unless it’s one of the 3 close range grabs then it won’t work.

it’s bad enough the character is so clunky, it’s bad enough the assault version’s moves don’t work half the time, it’s bad enough they took storm camping (the only thing he could do to get away from enemies) and made it pay to win, it’s bad enough. why can’t THE MAIN THING HES KNOWN FOR IN GAME be even slightly user friendly and easy to use????

Ngl this is me partially whining about my favorite character just not working right but i’ll preface with a question: Why doesn’t overhaul’s special action work?

Back when overhaul first released he was ridiculous because his gamma could break out of combos. When they removed that, I thought “well it’s fine his special action can still do that and that was busted anyways.”

Cut to now, where special action breaking out of combos basically doesn’t even work. Aside from like 3 moves, you’re almost always boned.

S&S gamma? Maybe you can escape one in every 5 times 😃.

Mirko Combos? Sure you can break out after you’ve taken all the damage 😃.

Strike/Tech Bakugo Gamma? Same as Mirko 😃.

Tech AFO Gamma/ Beta? No 😃.

And that’s JUST the knockback part of the move. The heal itself is also frustrating.

There’ve been many moments where it just straight up won’t activate. Or moments where it causes my Iframes to disappear and I die before the actual heal goes off. I had a game yesterday where instead of breaking myself out of a Mirko combo, it healed my bakugo who was missing about 20gp.

It’s always such a clunky experience getting on overhaul.

If I’m on support then I have to spend the whole match jumping so my moves activate faster in a fight and hope I don’t get dived on by the team of rapids who would dip if I managed to even guard break them.

If I’m on asshaul, I have to pray that my moves don’t all miss. That my alpha doesn’t hit for 38 damage and then not hit anything else. That my beta doesn’t get stuck on a small weird bit of geometry that prevents me from jumping and makes the pillar tiny. That my gamma actually hits whoever I’m looking at and doesn’t just do a small headbutt and leave me floating midair.

I know so many other characters have so many other bugs, but it’s so disheartening to see my favorite character be so hard to play and so clunky.

Anybody else have parts of their kit that just straight up don’t work?

Maybe it’s my fault for playing early season ranked but like every match I’ve had has been 20 minutes of a scrambled brawl where both my teammates die and then I end up in a 1v3 where I just retire instead of getting tbagged.

That and it feels like there’s been an uptick in the bad names.

And they STILL haven’t fixed any of asshaul’s bugs.

Personally, I don’t think ace is that high of a hurdle but is there anybody who you think is just incapable of getting there?

If not, who do you think will have the absolute most difficult time getting there?

I think the character that would have the worst time would be assault kiri. His best strength in my opinion is forcing people to back off of him with damage and his tanking, but his attacks are so telegraphed and easy to dodge that, at a certain point, he won’t be able to reliably force away a lot of characters.
