Review Week 8/17/2026

The flavors this week are all a lot better than soda week and Cheeto week.. but I’m definitely falling under the ‘everything tastes the same’ category of crumbl-goers. There’s slight variations in flavor, but generally they all taste similar 😕

Chocolate tiramisu cake 🍰 4/10 - if you love tiramisu, you’re going to be massively disappointed. No coffee flavor and no ladyfingers, just soaked plain cake, plain chocolate whipped frosting, no mascarpone flavoring either even though it’s in the description. It’s quite literally just vanilla cake with chocolate whipped cream. The fact that there is still a $1.49 upcharge for THIS?! Sure it’s two layers of cake, but that doesn’t make it worth the extra money when it tastes this lame. If they’re so worried about their Mormon values and not using coffee, don’t make an ‘inspired’ dessert at all.

Swedish candy 🍬 3/10 - I was pretty excited for this one because of the big fat Bubs candy on top. I’ve never had them before! But the first bite of just the cookie base I took made me legitimately spit it out. It was so sour and tasted awful! Whatever strawberry flavoring, dehydrated or extract, that was used did not taste good. Perhaps it was the sour sugar that made the cookie taste rancid?? I don’t know… but the only good thing about it was the mousse. It was very sweet, a little tangy/sour from the sour sugar and refreshing. Very strong, but in a good way! Unfortunately, the Buns candy is pretty tough and it’s difficult to take a bite of the cookie without having to gnaw on the candy like a piece of jerky. I’ll just take the frosting then, leave out the cookie part.

Stroopwafel sandwich 🧇 3/10 - oh boy. Thins. Can we not just have normal cookies and ditch the thins like we did last week? This does not have the crisp, airy texture of a stroopwafel, it’s tough and chewy, and its plain vanilla cookie thins. What would have been fun is using the waffle print that was used on the waffle cookie! The center is just plain caramel, the same that comes from a giant bucket. Nothing bad about the caramel, it’s the best part of the cookie! I think they could have also added a layer of chocolate on the outside to give this more depth and general flavor. The way it is, is very boring.

Cannoli sandwich 🇮🇹** 4.5/1**0 - man… they really like the thins huh. In terms of being more like a cannoli, I understand the change for the cookies, but I LOVED the texture of the original version. The cookies were so soft and buttery, the thins are just tough to chew. Again, it’s like chewing on jerky. Maybe this theme should have been called jerky week?? The cream inside is your basic vanilla cream filling, pretty much a lighter cream cheese frosting or mousse. It doesn’t taste like a classic cannoli cream though, which is ricotta or mascarpone. The mini chocolate chips are a wonderful crunch, and I’m glad they go all around the outside. Overall, I just prefer the original version because I can’t stand the taste and texture of thins.

Vanilla chocolate gelato 🍨 6/10 - this is basically the vanilla chocolate ice cream swirl cookie we had a while back, just renamed. It’s a good cookie, the base is rolled in waffle cone pieces, but they are soggy after being baked in the dough. The sugared waffle cone pieces on top are nice and crunchy though! The mousse is very refreshing, but I didn’t get much, if any, chocolate shavings inside of it. Overall it’s just very boring flavor wise. It’s like a hint of vanilla or chocolate or brown sugar if you really search for it.

Creme brûlée 🍮 8/10 - definitely the only good cookie this week! I like the texture of the base cookie, even though it’s very very thin, the sugar coating on the outside is nice to crunch on. The frosting on top has a nice faint tang to it, but it’s still super sweet, made even sweeter with the extra sugar on top that is torched, so it’s a little crunchy too! I was lucky and my friend torched mine fresh, but I’m not sure if they’re doing that for everyone so be careful if yours is fresh like mine! Don’t burn your mouth 😂 I do wish it was torched a lot more though. It’s definitely a sugar bomb, but it has a great cream cheese pudding-like taste, so it actually feels like eating creme brûlée.

Cat Tax 🐱 - we have official names now! And I think I won the ‘are we keeping them’ war 🙂‍↕️ Poppy and Pepper are figuring out how to climb stairs now…

Review Week 8/10/2026

What a change of pace! This lineup is genuinely nice compared to the last two weeks! PEANUT BUTTER BAR IS HERE FINALLY!!!

Cinnamon bun 🌀 4/10- While I did like the frosting on top and really loved the cinnamon sauce underneath, the actual dough of the cinnamon bun had a funky flavor to it that I did not enjoy. The cinnamon square had the exact same flavor to the dough, and it’s close to tasting like it was made with spoiled buttermilk. Luckily, it’s masked by the frosting and sauce on top, but without it, the base is just gross. I do like the texture of the dough much more than the cinnamon square though, definitely less dry and more cakey like a good cinnamon roll should be.

Carrot cake 🥕 8/10 - I have always enjoyed this cookie, but I’m not too sure I want carrot cake in august! The base cookie is very unique in flavor and texture. It has a nice spiced flavor and is super soft, like carrot cake! I wish it had some pecans mixed into it though, instead of the sad little line on top. Give me a full spread of pecans!! The cream cheese frosting is of course a great pairing to make this taste like carrot cake. Another change I would make is adding the glaze that goes on the layered carrot cake version. Maybe a drizzle on top or even an entire layer underneath the frosting.

Mississippi mud pie 🥧 8.5/10 - it’s not French silk pie, but it’s close! Love the base cookie for how rich of a chocolate flavor it has, plus it’s rolled in chocolate graham crackers which are arguably the best graham crackers. The chocolate mousse is very light and refreshing to lighten up the base cookie, but I’m not getting the fudge that is in the description. I’m glad the whipped cream on top is a full layer instead of a tiny little dollop so you get a taste in every bite. The cocoa on top isn’t noticeable, so I wish there were chocolate curls for more chocolate flavor and crunch.

Rainbow shake 🌈 8.2/10 - minis because my poor location was pretty behind (no staffing, the manager quit and told me everyone left because I was gone and she was also leaving👑 glad she got out of there) but I’m glad there’s four of them! This one unlocked some childhood memories for me, so I really enjoyed the flavors overall. The crunchy m&ms on both the outside and mixed inside the dough are super crunchy, and the plain sugar cookie makes the candies shine. I’m glad this is a buttercream on top, because it really helped convey an ice cream-like flavor. All together, this really does taste like an m&m McFlurry!

Childhood story attached to that- when I was first diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at 8, I had a really hard time dealing with all the responsibilities and how kids treated me at school. One day, I sat on the stairs at home and cried because my best friend didn’t want to invite me to her party for fear of me not being able to eat sugar (we can. T1 is different than your grandma with T2🙂‍↕️) my mom consoled me and asked if I wanted to get ice cream at McDonald’s so we sat inside and both ate m&m mcflurries.

Peanut butter bar 🥜 10/10 - FINALLYYYYYYYY I FINALLY GET TO HAVE PEANUT BUTTER BAR Jesus Christ crumbl corporate why tf did you have to keep taking it off the menu?! THIS WAS WONDERFUL and I’m glad I used my birthday freebie for one extra! The base is soooo rich with peanut butter, and as soft as eating a spoonful of peanut butter straight from the jar. But there’s texture to the base too because it’s an oatmeal cookie! The frosting on top is my favorite, ultra rich, fudge frosting. This cookie is just like its dessert equivalent. Perfect. It’s going in my permanent top 10!

Cat tax 🐱 - we have new names!! Pepper (all grey) and Poppy (white paws). They have started climbing the stairs, and Peanut has been such a good big brother. Milo has also let them sit with him and try to play, but he’s too old for their shenanigans.

Sister kittens! White paws needs a better name

Right now, her name is Cookie but it doesn’t really fit her. It was once Muffin, now Cookie. We have thought of Fluff or Puff.

Her sister’s name is Pepper and I really love the way it fits her personality. She’s a lover, but she has a little pep to her step. Their older brother is Peanut. He looks very similar to our white pawed kitten!

White Paws is very loud, runs and prances around and likes to fight her sister and older brother. Help!!

Review Week 8/03/2026

It’s my birth month!!! Thursday specifically is my birthday but it’s my birth month🙂‍↕️♌️

Something I have been saying and I will keep repeating is that I am grateful for the creativity and themed weeks that have been happening, but the execution of the flavors has been worse than before. The lack of testing and throwing random ideas into a recipe generator (that’s what it feels like at least) is making for some poorly put together flavors. Some are okay, but okay is the best way to describe them.

Dirty soda tres leches 🍋‍🟩 1/10 - now, I have never been a huge fan of crumbl’s tres leches other than the Biscoff version. This was not one I was looking forward to at all. Not only does the name ‘dirty soda’ sound unappealing and, well, dirty, but the overall flavor profile tastes nothing like a soda in the first place. The flavor I tasted most prominently was the lime whipped cream, which is fine on its own if you like lime, but combined with a chocolate cake that is soaked in a sauce that tastes like muted caramel… it’s a flavor mess. Citrus and chocolate is one of my least favorite dessert flavor combinations, and this just solidified that opinion. The caramel milk mixture does not convey soda at all, so ultimately this is like if the toffee tres leches got washed ten times in a washing machine and left in there for a few days. (I asked for no lime wedge btw)

Chocolate cola brownie 🥤 5/10 - if this were just labeled a normal fudge brownie, it would be ranked an 8/10, but it’s supposed to be a cola brownie and there is no hint of cola at all. It’s basically the original fudge brownie, but on ozempic because it’s as thin as paper! The fudge frosting is great, as usual. It’s one of my favorite frostings and is very rich. The brownie itself is very fudgey, not dry like the old recipe used to be. Again, there is ZERO cola flavoring in both the frosting and brownie.

Nila bean float 🍺 **4/**10 - it’s a step in the right direction in terms of the cola flavoring, but still underwhelming. There is no cola flavoring in the cookie itself, but that is the best part of the entire cookie. It’s very chocolatey and rich, and very soft like the skillet cookies (or all of the cookies…) used to be! The frosting has a slight hint of cola flavoring to it, and I see why they added the word ‘diet’ to the name originally, because the cola flavoring is very flat. Definitely tastes like a can of soda that’s been sitting in the fridge for a few days. The little pirouline on top is adorable, and I recommend eating that as soon as possible so it doesn’t get soggy!

Shirley temple 🍒 6/10 - fun fact, I used to get called Shirley temple as a kid because of my ringlet curls and my dimples. I really enjoyed the sugar crystals on the base cookie, and loved the cherry on top. Visually, this is a lovely cookie! Flavor wise, I actually thought this and the pink berry cookie tasted almost identical. The artificial cherry and strawberry give off the same vibe for me I guess. I didn’t get the grenadine flavor in the sugar, however. It just tasted like normal sugar! Which is incredibly disappointing because pomegranate is a flavor you don’t see in many desserts. I would have made the frosting a swirl of cherry and pomegranate to really scream that this is a Shirley temple inspired cookie.

Pink berry 🍓 7/10 - this one is simple and refreshing! I wish the base cookie had some food coloring and strawberry flavor in it, or make it similar to the strawberry cake cookie. The frosting is the best part since it has the most flavor, and reminds me of a strawberry limeade, just very heavy on the strawberry extract. There’s a lot that could be improved with this cookie, like using housemade strawberry jam in the frosting, making the cookie more than a sugar cookie with citrus zest, and adding a topping that won’t get soggy like the strawberry slice does.

Peach ring 🍑 9/10 - this is genuinely the only cookie I was excited for and I might go back in my birthday to use my freebie if the next week doesn’t look interesting! Definitely disappointed with how tiny it is, but the flavors made up for it. The base cookie is peach flavored and rolled in sugar, which was inspired by the coating of peach ring candies. The frosting is super sweet and heavy on the peach extract, and I’m okay with that! We don’t get peach desserts very often either, so I want to be overpowered by the flavor! The texture is a bit fluffier because it’s a mousse, but I’m glad it is thick enough to hold its structure, and of course I wish there were more peach ring candies on top, but one is cute. I am missing the sour sugar dusting on top, but I can’t tell if it just soaked in to the mousse while sitting in their fridge or not. Either way, I loved this one and I’m glad the only one I really wanted came through.

Cat tax 🐱 - still working on names that feel fitting for the babies, right now we have changed it to Pepper, for the all grey one, and Cookie, for the one with white paws. They are now running around my house like little gremlins!! Peanut is absolutely loving it, he chases them around and they chase him back. He has been very good about keeping his claws in and only giving playful bites if they get too annoying😂

For anyone that read this far and wants a free soda voucher, because I don’t want one and I also have no soda stores nearby, I think it would be fun to play a little game. Tell me the nicest thing someone has done for you recently. I’ll put everyone who comments into a name generator and choose on Thursday! 🥳

Review Week 7/28/2026

A little late to my weekly post! I took a much needed trip to see my sister for the weekend and enjoyed not working 😂 but I did miss my cats. Cat tax at the end of course!

Wild cherry blue razz slushy 🥤 **4/**10 - my god what a mouthful of a name… once again I’m convinced these new names and recipes are coming straight out of AI’s ass. The frosting colors definitely scream slushy, but I wish I had taken a picture of the poor display cookie, because the colors ended up bleeding into each other and looking like Grimace, the big purple McDonald’s mascot. I’m not sure why this is paired with a lemon cookie when it could have been like the blue raspberry slushy and had a plain vanilla base. The cherry and raspberry flavors are so strong, the lemon flavoring throws off the balance and feels random. I love the sugar crystals on both the cookie and the frosting, but this cookie is mostly a let down for those of use that loved the regular blue raspberry slush cookie.

Hershey’s white drop 🐼 5.5/10 - what happened to this cookie?! It used to be one of my favorites 😭 I have noticed that since the shrinkflation and recipe changes started, the cookies are so crunchy and dark on the outside, instead of soft and light for a cookies and cream cookie. The base flavor has really disappeared too and just tastes like the depressing new chocolate chip. The big chunks of Oreo inside are nice, but it really needs to be fully dipped in those melted cookies and cream Hershey’s bars! Cover that cookie instead of a tiny pool on top so we can get lots of those crispy crunchy bits!! The original version was so delicious and a good combination of sweet and rich. Now it’s just a chocolate chip base with Oreos and a sad Hershey bar.

Berry limeade cookie 🍋‍🟩 6.5/10 - I had high expectations for this, and I ended up disappointed. First of all, the color choice for the base cookie is making me nauseous, it looks like a bruise. If they were wanting to communicate nerds and limeade, why not make it pink or keep it plain like the lemon cookie? I also did not taste any lime in the base, but the frosting was jam packed with strawberry and lemon flavor! It reminded me of the strawberry lemonade cookie, but more artificial and it’s a buttercream instead of cream cheese. Someone pointed out that the nerds clusters look like cat litter, and I completely agree. It desperately needs to be dipped in nerds for the full effect, and leave out the clusters, because the few bites that had a singular nerd candy in them were great. The overall taste and execution need to be reworked (hmm, maybe do what I keep suggesting and bring back the testing cookies…)

Snickers 🥜 8/10 - I love a good snickers bar, and I love a good peanut butter cookie, but again with the change in baking and recipes this has become too crunchy! Peanut butter cookies are supposed to be soft, but now the only soft part is the very center, and the peanut butter flavor is almost non existent. I do still love the chopped snickers mixed into the dough, and my coworkers, including the newer lovely person that was working today, gave me a full swirl of frosting. I have never understood why this cookie has an open swirl! The frosting can be a bit overpowering with sweetness, but it’s rich with caramel flavor to act as the caramel layer in snickers bars. The chocolate drizzle on top is a nice touch, but if they wanted to truly make this like a snickers bar, there would be an entire chocolate layer.

Flamin lime crunch 🔥 **7.2/**10 - as I’ve said before, I suggested this years ago when crumbl still paid attention to the discord server. I liked to make some wild flavors in with the normal ones, and even though my expectations were very low based on how the tajin cookie went, I must say I am pleasantly surprised! While I’m not a fan of the stale Cheeto crumb texture, the flavor is there and isn’t muted by the cookie or the frosting. I actually can’t taste the base cookie at all, which is a huge bummer, and the lime cream cheese frosting is very subtle. Barely any lime flavor either, which I think is a good thing because I’m not a lime fan. Like takis? Not my thing. It mostly tastes like a cream cheese frosting with flamin hot Cheetos. Imagine this - you just polished off some flamin hot Cheetos, and you remember the trendy pairing of cream cheese dipped Cheetos. You take your Cheeto dust fingers, take a spoonful of cream cheese, and chase it by licking a lime wedge. That is this cookie. It’s not bad, but it’s not something I would ever buy again. It was fun and I appreciate the creativity!

Cat tax 🐱 - sorry to keep anyone waiting, Brownie and Muffin are growing SOOO FAST!! And Peanut has started playing with them! Milo doesn’t care, but they are getting little personalities already and they have started running around. RUNNING!! Still no update on keeping them, unfortunately. We will persist. I am also including a picture of my sister’s cat from when I visited. His name is Toulouse!

Review Week 9/20/2026 - Thins Week

Well, I went in hoping I could change my opinion of the thins since I haven’t had them since Martha Week (which.. fuck you corporate for bringing back free thin day. That original day was hell, and from what I heard today wasn’t much different besides a slight decrease in customer volume. My location was empty but all out of free flavors. I got the last pink sugar lol) unfortunately, my opinion just got worse. The quality of these is absolutely abysmal.

Instead of writing it in every single thin review, I will preface by saying the texture of the thins is what disappoints me the most. It’s like if beef jerky was a cookie. It’s chewy, tough, and tastes stale like it’s been curing in Crumbl’s fridges for months. The only exception is the chocolate thins for mallow and Dubai. Those were both so full of butter that they were soggy, and were the texture of fruit leather. Why do people prefer these?! When I want a cookie, I want a fat, soft, doughy dessert I can sink my teeth into. u/MrSoloDolo9490 describes them best - ozempic cookies

Red velvet thin 🥀 3.2/10 - where’s the cream cheese frosting? Why is it just a white chocolate drizzle? Thank god there’s at least white chocolate chips in it, but it just tastes like a chocolate cookie with vanilla extract (which is what red velvet is, I know.) it desperately needs some cream cheese frosting, and just change the name to red velvet cupcake thin!

Pink sugar thin 3/10 🌷 - pink sugar has never been a favorite of mine because I can’t stand the almond frosting, I do love the base cookie by itself though. The problem with the thin version is the frosting ratio. As much as I love frosting, I love crumbl’s normal ratio because it’s a lot of cookie dough with a lot of frosting, not a lot of frosting with barely any cookie. You can’t taste the cookie base with how much frosting is on top. Is it good for people that just want the frosting? Yes. Good for people that actually enjoy the base cookie? No. And it doesn’t have that lovely, soft, shortbread style flaky base that I love. It’s just a thin chewy cookie, no melt in your mouth texture.

Strawberry crinkle thin 4/10🍓 - the flavor on this one is a little better compared to the others, but still reeks of brown sugar and butter, and a hint of pulverized freeze dried strawberries. The powdered sugar and strawberry dust on top is cute, and provides a little bit of a break from the over baked essence of the rest of the cookie. There’s no texture differences to this though, it would be nice with some white chocolate chips.

Mallow thin 2/10 🖤 - and this is what I meant when I said the chocolate cookies had a fruit leather texture. You can pick up the layers and peel them back like a chunk of skin, and beneath it is a mud colored pile with some brownies slapped on top. The original mallow at least has some structural integrity, but this mousse looks like it was under whipped and sat out too long. The flavor is luckily similar to the original mallow, and is rich with chocolate and brownie flavor. The ratio of mousse to floppy cookie is hard to enjoy.

Dubai thin 🌰 6/10 - thank god for this cookie, even if it looks terrible and is falling apart. Once again, the chocolate cookie is basically underbaked butter and is falling off the sides of the Dubai filling. The main flavor is definitely the pistachio filling because the tiny cookies are so small that you can barely taste them. It’s mostly flavor from the filling and milk chocolate in the middle. As always, the textures are great from the filling, but not from the cookies, and unfortunately this still has an upcharge.

Cookie butter thin 🍪 3/10 - is the cookie butter in the room with us? Is it just from the crumbs on top?? This cookie is good if you like cinnamon and spices, but it doesn’t taste like cookie butter to me, mostly butter and brown sugar. It would have been lovely if there was at least a drizzle of melted cookie butter on top, or even better would be a layer of cookie butter frosting. These thins just feel so lazy with the lack of toppings.

M&M thin Ⓜ️ 5/10 - this one tastes like your standard chocolate chip thin, but it has three or four m&ms mixed in to each cookie. Wow!! I don’t know if I can handle how many m&ms are inside the cookies! Somebody call the sugar police, we have too many m&m’s here!! All jokes aside, this is basically the same cookie you’d make off of the back of a bag of dollhouse m&ms that no one will grab at your work potluck. The flavor of the base is very buttery and brown sugar heavy, so I guess that’s why people who like the thins enjoy them. But man I cannot get over the lack of quality, texture, toppings, and the fact that ‼️two thins is the same size as two mini cookies and they are charging them as a full size cookie‼️

Since my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined, I hope I can help everyone feel better by providing a cat tax 🐱 - Brownie and Muffin are growing so fast, and their big brother Peanut has finally accepted them… however my parents still say we aren’t keeping them. But don’t worry, I am persistent and will be keeping them anyway.

u/nutterfluffs — 1 month ago

This is what you guys think is good?🫩

Haven’t written a full review yet, but I needed to get some thoughts out immediately. I wanted to at least give thins a chance again since I haven’t had any since the hell that was Martha week. I was hoping I could change my opinion of the thins.

…my opinion has not changed. Actually, I hate them more now. How do people prefer these chewy, tacky crisps to a fluffy large cookie especially for the same price? You are getting the equivalent of two mini cookies for the price of a full size. And the texture is like if beef jerky was a cookie if they’re not completely goopy like this poor mallow was.

I’m sorry to all employees that dealt with the surprise of free thins, my old coworkers were telling me about how awful the morning was with rude people, and being completely understaffed with only one person, two for a few hours per shift. I’d like my points back 🤣

Review Week 7/13/2026 + cat tax

I truly want to be excited about the themed weeks and new-ish flavors, but it really feels like they are becoming flop after flop. Or only one flavor ends up being good out of the bunch. Like I’ve said a million times, they need to fully test the cookies again and not throw shit at the wall and see what sticks.

Banana pudding cup 🍌 1/10 - I genuinely got this for the pink shovel. I knew I didn’t like the banana pudding cup the first time, I knew they hadn’t updated the recipe this time, I just want that shovel. I remember gagging when making the pudding mixture the first time, because the bananas turned brown even when coated in lemon juice, and then we had to combine it with the bland vanilla pudding and scoop that into a million cups in different layers. If you like bland vanilla pudding that costs 9 dollars, then go ahead. But it’s really just vanilla pudding with a few slimy bananas mixed in, and vanilla wafers that also become soggy if you don’t eat it immediately. Cute shovel though.

Key lime cheesecake 🍋‍🟩 2/10 - it’s better than the key lime pie, but not by much. I’m sure if you love key lime flavor and you love Crumbl’s cheesecakes, you’ll love this. But I am neither of those, so I hate it😅 what throws me off the most is the green food dye. I wanted to get one just to see how green it is in person. It looks closer to mint ice cream or jello salad, if you know what that is. The texture is creamy yet dry like your usual crumbl cheesecake and the lime flavor is actually pretty faint compared to the key lime pie. The graham crust is honestly the best part because it’s sweet and buttery.

Molten lava cake 🌋 2.5/10 - are we.. are we being serious? This is what crumbl thinks lava cake is? Let’s start off with the glaringly obvious topping issue. The ‘lava sauce’ is served in a cup on the outside. I don’t know if you’ve ever had a good, warm, decadent lava cake before, but the whole gimmick is that it oozes hot chocolate sauce when you cut into it, and it looks like a volcano erupting. Not only does this volcano-cake look like it was excavated and steam rolled into a flat foothill, but there’s no lava inside. It’s on the outside. And in a cup! The cake actually resembles a dry igneous rock, so I guess that’s where they’re going with the tropical theme. Dry, full of holes, and lacking decadent chocolate cake flavor. The only thing that is remotely good is the vanilla mousse on top.

Hawaiian coconut 🥥 6.8/10 - I was most excited for this one, but once I learned it was a cake batter base cookie, I was so sad. The frosting is sooo cute, even though the FOUR PIPING BAGS is absolutely ridiculous, and it’s pretty much the same as the Martha Stewart coconut cake, which I actually loved. Very heavy on the coconut extract which is wonderful! The cookie however, why is it cake batter? Cake batter just mutes the refreshing coconut frosting and it tastes like a confused mess. What they should have done is take the coconut white chip from the graveyard cookies and slap that pretty frosting on top for the ultimate coconut cookie. And some white chocolate would have paired nicely! It just lacks any coconut texture or texture difference in general, and needs to be without the cake batter flavor.

Beach bum 🏖️ 7.5/10 - now that’s cute. That’s adorable! Time consuming, definitely, but cute! The little teddy graham in the peach ring is just darling, and the umbrella makes me feel like I’m sipping on a Mai tai on the beach. I do wish this was the peach ring or honey cake cookie though, it would have made sense with the toppings. However, I think the overall flavor profile is a nice change of pace. This actually reminds me a lot of cornbread because of the honey frosting! It’s not too strong with honey, but just enough that you can tell it’s there, and I would have loved an extra drizzle of honey if it didn’t mean messing up the toppings. The base cookie is the same as your usual cheesecake cookies, so it’s very buttery and tastes like a graham cracker crust. A plus for visuals, B for flavor.

Cat tax 🐱 - the babies, Brownie and Muffin, are about two weeks old now! They are growing so fast and so strong.

Review Week 6/6/2026

My opinion on the theme this week is.. these were mediocre fan favorites. As much as I like the Biscoff skillet and strawberry ice cream bar, I almost didn’t make the trip to pick them up and mostly went to chat with friends 🥴

Snickerdoodle cupcake 🧁 5/10 - I have never ever liked Crumbl’s snickerdoodles, they have a weird aftertaste that I just cannot stand, but luckily the cream cheese frosting and cinnamon sugar on top mask that flavor a bit. There’s really not much to say about this cookie because of how basic it is, but it’s slightly less basic than your standard snickerdoodle.

Marbled stuffed cheesecake 🪩 4.5/10 - this needs a better name because marbled stuffed cheesecake cookie is a real mouthful! Judging on looks alone, my hopes weren’t super high for this one, and most stuffed cookies end up having the smallest amount of filling inside. I was at least pleasantly surprised by the amount of cheesecake filling, but disappointed in the overall flavor. It’s supposed to be part brownie dough, which wasn’t very strong at all, and part vanilla cream cheese dough. I’ve never had cream cheese dough, but this just tasted like a basic cookie like the chocolate chip base. The cream cheese filling is truly just like taking a bite out of a block of lukewarm cream cheese. It really repulsed me at first. I prefer cheesecake to be cold, not warm. It messes with the texture of the filling and goes from creamy to curdled cheesey. Once I chilled it at home and took a bite, it was much better, but it’s still hard to distinguish the brownie and vanilla doughs. Ì

Oreo birthday cake 🎉 8/10 - this cookie used to only come out during Crumbl’s birthday, and I used to love it a lot more. It’s still a solid cookie, but not compared to the 300 other flavors I’ve had! The base is your classic Oreo cookie with cake batter cream cheese frosting, sprinkles and cookie pieces. Usually, I’m not big on cake batter flavoring, but the richness of the oreo base tones down the intensity of the frosting. There’s also lost of textural differences in each bite from soft sprinkles to slightly crunchy crumbs, to soft creamy frosting. It’s a well balanced cookie!

Twix/Caramel shortbread 🍮 8/10 - damn. Look how small that is. If I based my reviews on size now, it would be around a 6/10, but I’m focused on flavors. The shortbread base is a bit dry and crunchy, and I wish it was the texture of pink sugar, but I do love the pieces of Twix that are mixed inside. A thick layer of both caramel and milk chocolate make this cookie a workout for your jaw, but it’s worth it when the flavors are so rich, sweet and a little salty! The chopped Twix on top become stale pretty quickly, so your best bet is to eat it straight after ordering or freezing it to keep the textures crisp.

Biscoff skillet 🍳 8.2/10 - I was excited to have this one again, and then I tried it, and remembered I was underwhelmed last time too 😂 I am a fiend for Biscoff and all things cookie butter, so you’d think this would be a 9/10, but compared to all the other Biscoff flavored cookies, it’s low on the totem pole. The cookie this time around was baked much better, still soft and a little gooey in the center, especially after having mousse on top. Last time it was a crunchy, hard rock. I do wish the base had more biscoff flavor instead of spices, and visually it looks like skin with scabs all over it. At least there’s plenty of scabs- I mean biscoff cookie pieces! The mousse is slightly better than your typical vanilla mousse because it has pieces of biscoff cookies in it, but they do get a little soggy in there. One major upgrade it needs is a nice layer of biscoff underneath the mousse.

Strawberry ice cream bar 🍦9.5/10 - it’s been a while since we’ve seen this one! This is what it means to turn a well known dessert into a cookie! The Good Humor strawberry ice cream bars were the GOAT of ice cream truck desserts, and this cookie embodies the nostalgia I have for that. The vanilla cookie is rolled in strawberry streusel, stuffed with strawberry cookie dough, then topped with a slightly whipped and fluffy white drop frosting. It has a nice hint of tang to it to balance the sweetness. Obviously, the star of the show is that strawberry streusel on top. I could literally eat a container of it. It's crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, and it's refreshing like an ice cream bar on a hot summer.

Cat tax 🐱 - if anyone is apart of my subreddit, you may have seen these babies already. I am once again fostering some kittens! They are from the same stray cat mom as Peanut (we have been trying to catch her to get her fixed..) but she left these babies under our neighbors shed and she refused to feed them. We tried to leave them for her, but they were shivering and hungry all day, my family and I refused to leave them out there.

They are about a week old now. I’ve named them Brownie (brown paws) and Muffin (white paws) for now, but it’s not official! Parents say I can’t keep them but I’m gonna try to convince them😌 bottle feeding every few hours, keeping them I a little crib to sleep with warm rice bags and plushies. They love to suckle on my clothes and hands and.. my hair… Peanut is not a fan of his siblings just yet.

Review Week 6/29/2026 🇺🇸

Happy 250th birthday America, kinda awkward with the whole patriotic sugar cookie drama happening🥴

Patriotic sugar cookie 🇺🇸 4/10 - A basic sugar cookie with basic buttercream frosting and slightly less basic sprinkles. I specifically didn’t get a full size of this cookie because I knew I wouldn’t eat it. It’s better than pink sugar because I hate the almond extract in that cookie, but not as exciting to the tastebuds. This is more of a cookie you get for someone that is a picky eater, or if you don’t want to get any extravagant cookies for your Fourth of July party.

Cherry Bomb 🍒 6/10 - I see the vision, I can slightly taste the inspiration, but it doesn’t hit as hard as I’d hoped. The original golden Oreo cookie base used to have such a rich flavor and was super heavy on the distinct golden Oreo taste, but it’s like they took the Oreos, soaked them in milk, and used the milk to flavor the cookie. It’s barely rolled in cookie crumbs, and the frostings mute the flavor even more. The frostings are good and strong in flavor, but we have the same problem as the moonbeam ice cream cookie- the flavors all merge together into a sugar bomb (I guess that’s in the name!) obviously, this cookie is supposed to be like the Bomb Pop popsicles, but I mostly get the lime flavor in the frosting and not cherry or blue raspberry… and lime is the worst part of the popsicle! Would have been interesting if they did a vanilla/lime cookie, with cherry and blue raspberry frosting to mute the lime a bit.

Summer Berry Tart 🫐 5/10 - my lord is this the saddest, smallest cookie out of the bunch. It’s super unfortunate that this weighs around 2 ounces, because the base cookie is so lovely. It’s a shortbread style base, so it’s light and a bit flakey, similar to the pink sugar texture. The vanilla mousse on top is also refreshing, not too heavy with vanilla bean extract, and paired with housemade jam and berries. I’m not a fan of the housemade jam because it’s too tart and gummy, so I wish it was the Andros brand jam, but I think the tartness pairs nicely with the sweet mousse. The raspberries and blueberries are a nice fresh touch as well, and reminds me of the fruit pizza cookie we did last year. It’s nothing special, and for the size it gets major points knocked off, but it’s still a less dense dessert choice.

Cornbread 🧈 10/10 - one of my first crumbl
cookies ever and is the number 6 spot out of over 300 cookies I've tried. It's unique, it's savory, it's sweet, it's gritty, and it tastes just like a thick piece of cornbread. The base itself is made of actual cornmeal, then topped first with a honey butter glaze, a dollop of buttercream and more honey. Growing up, I was taught to slather my cornbread with butter and honey, to the point that it's basically soaked with it. This cookie perfectly replicates that feeling. I mentioned before that it has grit, and I mean that literally. The cornmeal base is gritty and dense. I also found that I like it without the buttercream and almost prefer it that way! I get more of the cornbread and honey taste without the buttercream, but I still enjoy it the way that it is meant to be served.

Campfire Skillet 🔥 9/10 - wow I was concerned about this one, but was pleasantly surprised! I liked the original s’mores skillet, but not as much as this. I love everything chocolate, so the chocolate base gives this the chocolate richness that a real s’more has apart from the Hershey’s bars in the middle. The graham cracker on the bottom is a nice touch, but turned a bit soggy after being smothered by cookie dough. The marshmallow mousse on top is a nice way to convey a marshmallow without the actual thing being baked on top, like the original s’mores cookie which ends up sticking to my teeth. The graham crackers on top are better than the graham cracker on the bottom, and I specifically enjoy that they’re baked with extra sugar and butter so they stay crunchy.

Caramel Apple Crisp 🥧 9.9/10 - first want to address that I asked for one caramel cookie to have the mousse and the other without. I had a chance to try this cookie last week without the mousse and. My. God. The flavors are wonderful! The cinnamon streusel bottom layer is so jam packed with spices, the apple pie filling in the middle is definitely premade, but still tastes great combined with all the other elements, and it has more oat streusel on top. Of course, I have extra caramel drizzled on top of mine, and the vanilla mousse is reminiscent of a scoop of ice cream. It definitely lightens up the entire cookie, but I honestly prefer it without the mousse! Something about the richness of all the spices and caramels are perfectly fine on their own. My biggest gripe about this cookie is the structure. The base cookie doesn’t fill up the sides of the mold, and the apple pie filling is too liquidy to hold any form either, so it basically bakes like a real apple crisp and is a mess. They need to worry less about shrinking the size of the cookies and make sure they’re structurally sound first. Or yknow… actually test the new cookies before putting them on the menu?

Cat tax 🐱 - throwback to when Peanut was just a little baby!

Where are the Canadian reviewers at? I’m interested in hearing your opinions! I remember the maple sandwich being okay, but I’m dying to know about the berry lemon cookie and that Nanaimo bar.

Jeni’s Frosted Sugar Cookie🩷

Number 2 of my Whole Foods haul🩷

A certain cookie company tends to haunt my every day life, and I was nervous this would have the same disgusting almond extract in it like their pink sugar cookies… but the heavens smiled upon me, finally, and that was not the case!

7.5/10 - I was pleasantly surprised by how cream cheesy this tasted! Kinda like eating a mouthful of cream cheese frosting, and that’s not something I will ever complain about. It’s got a slight tartness, a characteristic of both custards and cream cheese frostings, but it’s nothing sour and is very pleasant and light. There’s not much of the pink frosting in this pint, which I’m pretty disappointed about, and it definitely blends in to the ice cream base instead of being a separate layer you can pick out. I’d rather have the pink frosting be the consistency of the fudge in moose tracks or like a hard chocolate.

I do enjoy the little cake pieces mixed in, but again they tend to disintegrate into the ice cream and it’s hard to pick them out in each bite. I love mix-ins that have structure, and cake pieces can be tricky. This would have been amazing if they changed the cake pieces to mother’s animal cookie pieces instead!

Van Leeuwen Lovely Day For A Guinness

0/10 - let’s start the haul reviews off with the worst of the bunch… this was awful. I may not like to drink alcohol, but I still like the taste of certain drinks. This did not taste like a Guinness, but it did make me feel like I just got dumped by my husband and I’m drinking alone. I can’t describe the flavor as anything other than rancid. One time, I took a bite out of an old cookie in the pantry and didn’t realize it actually had mold growing on the bottom. This tastes exactly like that. Sugar and milk that has gone so bad that it’s inedible. The only good thing about it is the chocolate chunks that are few and far between.

Don’t purchase this in your haul.

Review Week 6/22/2026

I got a box of 6 and the same box in minis just to compare. Most of you know me enough by now that I review things for the love of the game and because I like to write, so I thought I’d give some extra input on the shrinkflation business. I told y’all it was happening to all the cookies and I provided pictures in a few of my posts, so don’t say I didn’t warn you 😅 because they have finally shrunk all of the cookies instead of just one or two, and haven’t changed the box sizes to accommodate, it’s REALLY OBVIOUS how much smaller they all are. The minis look so nice in comparison, and I never made myself or bought minis in the past. Don’t even get me started on the astronomically priced strawberry cup..

Funnel Cake 🧈 0/10 - it’s Kentucky butter cake in a slightly different form… and KBC is my most hated cookie of all time. Hated it from the start. They could have done so much better, and you can barely tell it’s baked with sweetened condensed milk besides the slightly crispy edge that pools around the cookie. And where are the cookie crumbs it talks about in the description? This feels like a mouthful of butter, just like KBC. Funnel cakes are so crisp, yet still a little chewy when you bite into them. This is just your standard crumbl cookie.. My Pennsylvania Dutch ancestors would be disappointed.

Strawberry lemonade 🍓 7/10 - while definitely not as good as the raspberry lemonade cookie, this is still very refreshing and perfect for summer! It’s definitely a little tart, like lemonade, but heavily artificial. The freshest strawberry flavor is from the slices on top, but the frosting is definitely heavy on the strawberry extract, which is unfortunate because putting more strawberry jam (not the housemade stuff from the frozen berries, but Andros brand) would have made this taste a little less fake. The base cookie is very light on the lemon, which is a good thing when the lemon frosting is so strong and tart. It’s also nice to have a buttercream instead of cream cheese, even though I love cream cheese frosting.

Deep Fried Oreo 🐼 8.2/10 - now visually… visually this is pretty awful. In a different thread, I mentioned it looked like my cat threw up and pooped on top of the cookie. It still looks that way, but thank god it doesn’t taste like that. This reminds me of the fried ice cream cookie, and correct me if I’m wrong but the streusel it’s rolled in looks pretty similar too. Golden Oreos, corn flakes, and butter. It definitely gives the illusion of a deep fried cookie, and it’s incredibly soft on the inside. A little bit too buttery for my liking as evidenced by how badly it spreads, but the Oreo in the middle as well as the little chocolate drizzle on top covers the butter. I hate drizzles, so either put an entire layer of chocolate on top or make the base cookie chocolate instead. Not sure why they didn’t make the base the same as cookies and cream… that would have easily been a 10/10 for me.

Caramel apple 🍏 9.8/10 - this is one of my favorite cookies and it fits right in with the carnival theme! The cookie itself is flavored with apple cider mix, butter extract and cinnamon, so it's full of warmth. Fresh green apples, a heavy drizzle of caramel, and a mix of crunchy and soft graham streusel are the perfect blend of fresh, and decadent. The caramel frosting actually lightens up the overall richness of the cookie as a whole. Without it, it wouldn't have a creaminess that it desperately needs. Similar to an actual caramel apple that usually has a chocolate coating, the frosting acts as that and really brings everything together. Definitely needs a whole layer of caramel though, not just a drizzle!

Cotton candy 🍬 9.9/10 - do you know how long I’ve waited for this damn cookie to come back? Do you know how many weeks I asked for it to be on the menu? MANY AND FOR THREE YEARS. The last time I had it, my parents surprised me with a six pack for my Diaversary (my type 1 diabetic anniversary. I celebrate it because I’ve dealt with it since I was 8!) and I even made a post about it here! That was before I started reviewing.. but my coworkers and I think they purposely waited until I no longer worked there to bring it back 😂🥴

This cookie is just so unique and visually adorable, plus they changed the frosting color from blue to pink, and pink is my favorite color! The base cookie is pretty plain, and the frosting seems to have less cotton candy flavoring in it than it did before, but it’s still pretty strong! What I really, truly adore is the popping candies. They are cronchy, and the really do pop in your mouth like pop rocks! It takes me back to good childhood times when we’d visit the local fair and get cotton candy and kettle corn. And who doesn’t like pop rocks?!

Review Week 6/15/2026

Disclaimer - no longer an employee, but my old coworkers still love me and give me order the Fluff’s Treatment 💖

This is honestly a much better lineup than the monstrosity of last week. It seems like they’re trying to be creative again… but it’s not really hitting the right marks. Especially with the shrinking of the cookies, gross corporate practices (like finding many employees just for talking about the company) and mistreatment of employees. I’m using up my points and old crumbl cash.

Toffee tres leches (formerly toffee cake) 🍮8/10 - this is one of the only cake items I will rate this highly, and it hasn’t been on the menu in over two years. It was one of the first cakes I made when I started working there. It wasn’t called a tres leches cake before, and it’s not the same milk mixture as the other tres leches cakes so, other than being a selling point it shouldn’t be called a tres leches cake. I do fondly remember the caramel sauce which is basically liquid crack. The caramel sauce helps Crumbl’s notoriously dry and crumbly cakes hold together and stay moist. One thing that the toffee cup got right was pairing this with a vanilla pudding/mousse. The whipped cream is so boring and doesn’t add any flavor, where the vanilla mousse at least added a thicker texture and more prominent vanilla flavor. Definitely needs more caramel and toffee bits on top. It would be amazing if there were crunchy toffee pieces inside the cake batter as well.

Cookies and cream grill it 🌭 6.5/10 - cute concept, weird execution. Asking a bunch of teens with not much decorating experience to try and make little grill lines and nice circles with melted chocolate is unfortunately a very big ask. Even I wouldn’t want to deal with that with how stingy corporate is on quality checks. The base cookie is luckily a lot softer than the last skillet cookie, and very rich with chocolate. I’m a chocolate lover so I’m fine with all the chocolate! The cookies and cream ends up being a weirdly textured mess of sticky, gummy mousse with soggy Oreo pieces in it. This whole cookie is basically just soggy, which is the opposite of what grilling does to food. The poor gummy bears got skewered, and I find it sad that they didn’t find a way to buy those Efrutti brand hot dog gummies instead. Those are super cute! But at least they used the Albanese brand gummy bears, it just doesn’t add much to the poorly done textures and is basically a worse version of the dirt cake cookie.

Root beer float 🍺 6/10 - there is a girl on the old crumbl discord that has been requesting a root beer float cookie for 147 days. She had a daily count going, and FINALLY they make one. I hope she finds a nearby store to live her dreams. This is definitely a fun and interesting flavor, and the root beer is all in the frosting. It’s not very strong, and honestly tastes more like a faint molasses. There needs to be some sort of fizzy element for it to convey root beer, like those old timey hard candies that were shaped like root beer barrels! Crush some of those up and sprinkle on top!!! It’s also hard to taste the root beer flavor in the actual cookie itself because it’s so faint and overwhelmed by the plain vanilla side. It’s also tiny. The cookie is so small. The pirouline cookie is a cute way to make it look like a straw sticking out of a cup though! My coworker said “should I put two on top?” I said absolutely, so she put three instead.

Everything but the Dad Joke 👔 4/10- what the hell is this name? Who came up with this and thought “yeah that’s gonna make people want to eat this!” Clearly not anyone with a properly functioning brain. The base cookie is SO SMALL, and is just a plain m&m And peanut butter chip cookie with zero flavor, and barely any of the candies inside. A small pool of peanut butter on top, and chip pieces covered in peanut butter that still end up soggy and not crisp unless you get them right after they were made. They had been sitting out on the counter all day for me, so it’s soggy. They also put three m&m’s on top like the picture unless you have cool coworkers like I’m lucky to have. Overall, the only flavor comes from the peanut butter on top, and it ends up being weirdly salty and burnt tasting. I REALLY wanted to like this one, Which is why I got two because I loved the kitchen sink cookie, and I think potato chips are a cute dessert addition. I used to dip my potato chips in chocolate pudding in school.. But this was more like ‘Everything but a Good Cookie.‘

Peanut butter cup 🥜 10/10 - my shaylaaaaa… what did they do to you? Everything has gotten so small, they’re really taking after the ozempic and heroin chic trend huh? What about those of us that understand how portioning works 😔 here’s a side by side of my freezer cookie from a while back next to today’s. At least the flavors are still there. It’s a peanut butter cookie with Reese’s cups mixed inside, with more peanut butter on top, and more Reese’s cups with a chocolate drizzle. I don’t prefer drizzles and would rather have a layer each of peanut butter and chocolate, kind of like the Buckeye brownie cookie, but this cookie has always been perfect the way it is. If you are an absolute fiend, no, a peanut butter slut like me, you’ll love this one. It’s one of the OG flavors that stands the test of time. If you’re gonna get one cookie this week, just get this one.

Sorry to the girl In this sub that has a peanut and blueberry allergy. Looks like no crumbl for you again.

Cat tax 🐱 - Milo is again the king of the cat tree and Peanut is just his jester.

Review - Kroger Cherry Pie Ice Cream

8/10 - Kroger and Private Selection are honestly putting out some quality flavors! I may not be a cherry pie fan, I’m not really a cherry fan in general, but this has a fantastic base flavor that’s not too strong and doesn’t taste like cough syrup despite being bright artificial red. There’s a ton of pie pieces inside every bite, and I’m a lover of chunky ice creams. The more mix-ins the better, and Kroger hasn’t disappointed me so far! There’s also huge thick ribbons of cherry pie filling, which is super sweet just like the stuff from a can. The base cherry/vanilla ice cream helps calm down that sweetness even though they describe it as tart. It’s definitely not tart!!

Review Week 6/8/2026

I am no longer an employee! But my coworkers still give me the best looking ones they can make 😌 and I am not giving crumbl my money, these are purchased with all my points I need to use up.

I am very glad they are FINALLY doing some interesting cookies, but these flavor combos are.. interesting in an unappetizing way. Sports drink and tajin? Okay… my coworkers were also telling me about how time consuming and stressful prep was for these flavors. Stuffed cookies, everything is rolled in something or pressed into a tin, there’s multiple frostings swirled together, and they are severely understaffed per usual. Good ol money hungry corporate people not thinking about logistics!

Dubai cheesecake is not in my order because I’m sick of Dubai, plus it’s not a new offering. It’s good for being a crumbl cheesecake, very rich, but definitely skimpy on the Dubai filling compared to the brownie or cookie.

Brownie sundae 🍨 4/10 - this one has never been a huge favorite of mine because of how boring it is, and it seems to have gotten worse! The base cookies that are skillets used to be my favorite, but lately, even when I was still working, they were becoming super hard and crispy, not at all soft like a skillet cookie should be. Sure, the shape holds a little better but biting into it was like biting into a year old package of chips ahoys that you eat out of desperation. Because of how dry it is, the chocolate flavor gets lost. The mousse inside is fine, very boring vanilla mousse, with chocolate syrup and sprinkles. My coworker was excited by my reaction to the extra cherry on top, that really WAS the cherry on top to my day 🍒

Blue raspberry sports drink 🧢 5/10 - who named this? Who came up with this terrible name?? Imagine telling someone your favorite cookie is “blue raspberry sports drink cookie” this cookie overall is fine, visually it looks odd and would have been more appealing if it was a vanilla base, but I love chocolate so I’ll give it a pass. The frosting is refreshing, not too heavy on the blue raspberry flavoring which made it easy on the tastebuds. But all together in one bite, it just tastes like a chocolate cookie with a sweet cream cheese frosting. Most people are describing it as slightly fruity, and I echo that sentiment. I don’t get sports drink from this. Give me a frosting that has blue Gatorade powder in it and then we’ll talk. (I know blue Gatorade is basically blue raspberry but IT’S DIFFERENT)

Mango tajin 🥭 .01/10 - my god. They tried to be creative, and I applaud the test kitchen for trying something new, but good lord this tasted like Satan’s butthole. I first tried tajin a few years ago during a trip to Mazatlan. We were the only people on a tour of some very tiny towns in the middle of nowhere. There was a fruit stand on the side of the road that was selling fresh fruit, so we stopped and paid for mango with tajin. When I tell you my life was changed by some fruit, lime juice and salty seasoning, I mean it! This cookie??? Completely the opposite of that experience.

Biting into the cookie with all elements in one bite is like biting into a salt brick and chasing it with a cookie baked with salt instead of sugar. The frosting by itself is so refreshing, a hint of mango in there. The base cookie is where the flavors start to turn. It’s rolled in tajin, which is fine at first, but definitely made me raise an eyebrow. It’s already so salty. Then the mango sludge on top is where it goes wayyyy south. It’s literal artificial slop. The mango tastes like it was straight from a syrup bottle, and then they dumped an entire container of tajin in it. Absolutely disgusting. This is going straight to the trash and I hope it rots in hell.

Dot cake cookie 🌈 8/10 - I’m surprised crumbl hopped on the trend slightly faster than usual, and I’m also surprised they didn’t just make it a cake. Finally going back to their roots, huh? I love that the base cookie is the same as strawberry shortcake, and it reminds me of the free cookies Walmart used to give out to kids. It’s super super soft, very vanilla forward, and cakey. I am a LOVER, A FEIND, for rainbow nonpareil sprinkles. Love how crunchy they are. Love the risk in chipping a tooth it takes to eat a bunch of them all at once. They don’t taste like anything, but they’re crunchy. The frosting is plain vanilla cream cheese frosting, which pairs well with the simple cookie. I’m not a fan of the dot cake trend in general, and it upsets me that the original Mexican dessert, cortadillo, has been reduced down to a boring trend. Also… the rainbow imagery during pride month despite zero actual pride from Crumbl is terrible.

Nanaimo bar 🇨🇦 8.9/10 - I remember when they teased this as a tester cookie, I was so stoked to see it in the lineup a few times… but they kept taking it away from us. Now we finally have it! It was very enjoyable, and I really want to try an actual Nanaimo bar so I can compare the flavors. Anyone got a hookup?! The base cookie is full of flavor and texture. It’s a chocolate cookie rolled in graham crackers and coconut, and I cannot get enough coconut in my life! Ever had fresh coconut from Hawaii?? That’s also life changing. The mousse is almost identical to the brownie sundae, just a touch thicker, and there’s a nice big pool of chocolate on top to make this more decadent. I’m glad they decided to finally put this on the menu.

Ultimate peanut butter 🥜 9.9/10 - oh peanut butter cookies… how I love you so. Had I been working, there would be a full layer of peanut butter, but the way it is served is perfect. She’s an original cookie, she’s a classic, she’s perfect just how she is. As always with stuffed cookies, I wish there was even more peanut butter shoved in there. It’s super sweet, slightly salty but not anything like the tajin cookie, the sugar coated on the outside gives it a nice texture, and it makes me smack my lips like a dog eating peanut butter.

Cat tax 🐱 - the kiddos got a new cat tree! Milo loves the bed at the top, and he also likes that Peanut is too scared to climb up there.

Fried Chicken Ice Cream Review

Fried chicken… ice cream… fried chicken ice cream?? This can’t be good.

But it is good! It’s actually really good!! When I saw this on the shelf in my grocery store, I definitely did a double take, but I couldn’t resist picking it up and sharing with my family. The box comes in a pack of three individually wrapped chicken legs, and it’s sweet vanilla ice cream with a chocolate ‘bone’ in the center, which is just hard candy chocolate, and coated in a cornflake crust. I wish the chocolate bone was a little softer, closer to the fudge tracks in moose tracks ice cream so that it was easier to bite and chew. I don’t like biting down on ice cream in the first place, so something softer would have been nice. The cornflake style crust is my favorite part of the whole thing. It’s crunchy, it’s sweet but salty like cornflakes, and it gives the ice cream a nice change in texture.

I give this a 9/10 rating. It’s simple, it’s silly, it’s delicious. Is it gourmet? No not at all, but it’s fun to share and eat, and the quality is actually pretty great for a gimmicky dessert.

Review Week 6/1/2026

Please read my last review https://www.reddit.com/r/CrumblCookies/s/kruXOsLqLl for an update on Crumbl and how I’m no longer an employee.. but my old coworkers like me so they tried their best to overtop like me💖

Strawberry pop tart 🍓 8/10 - This cookie evokes a lot of nostalgic memories of elementary school times for me. My dad loved to have a blueberry or strawberry pop tart before work, and only occasionally would he let me have one as a treat. I enjoy the crunchy melted white chocolate with matching sprinkles on top, and the crushed pop-tarts are nice and soft, but still flaky from the outside pastry. I would change this to have jam on top instead of inside... stuffed cookies are a pain to make and never turn out well, especially with Crumbl’s standards of not using enough filling. If only crumbl corporate would listen to us telling them this. I would love to have some poptarts mixed inside the cookie too.

Sea salt cookie 🌰 7/10 - the choice to change the name from sea salt hazelnut to just sea salt is really odd… shouldn’t there be an indication that there’s chocolate hazelnut in the center? Iremember when Nutella was all the rage growing up, but my mom hated it so I only ate it at my friends house. The base cookie is very plain, and balances out the richness of the Nutella, but I really wish it was a chocolate cookie instead. The dash of sea salt on top is honestly the star, and it helps the richness of the Nutella shine. I do think it needs a full layer of Nutella on top though, drizzles just annoy me.

I’m also attaching a picture of the old sea salt cookie that I have in my freezer to show how drastic the size change of the cookies is. I think we all need to keep commenting on their social media posts about the size changes and prices staying the same.

Blueberry pancake 🫐 6/10 - it’s definitely not as good as the blueberry muffin, but it’s better than regular pancake. The base cookie is pretty bland, and it’s made with pancake mix so it at least has the essence of a pancake. The glaze is VERY sweet, and I suppose it's meant to be like blueberry syrup. I genuinely would prefer blueberry syrup instead, but the glaze is fine. The texture of it can get a bit grainy. Where this misses the mark is the texture. Blueberry muffin has a wonderful streusel on top that's soft yet still a bit crunchy. This cookie has nothing other than the snap of a blueberry if you get a full one that wasn't broken during baking, or if there’s any in the cookie at all. It doesn't scream pancake to me, just a blueberry cookie with a funky blueberry glaze.

French toast 🍞 9.9/10 - the return of one of my favorites!! French toast was a special treat growing up, so this reminds me of my childhood. It's fluffy and cakey, and the syrup drizzled on top soaks in and makes it all stay together. Unfortunately, my location forgot both the syrup and powdered sugar, but that’s okay. I am capable of doing that myself. THIS is how a cake cookie should be. It has structure, but isn't too dry or too moist. The egg wash on top gives it a little crispness. It's actually made with applesauce too, and I can just faintly taste it. The buttercream on top is reminiscent of spreading butter over French toast, and I used to COVER my French toast in powdered sugar as a kid, so I definitely need a bit more. My recommendation on how to eat this one - take the dollop of buttercream off, add some syrup to a bowl and microwave it for a few seconds, stir that together and spread it over the entire cookie. Thank me later.

Cereal milk tres leches 🥣 4/10 - I may not like Crumbl’s tres leches but I was genuinely excited to try this one. I thought the cookie butter tres leches was okay, so I wanted to give another flavored version a chance. Man was I disappointed! It tastes like the regular tres leches, so just sopping wet yellow cake with condensed milk, but with a hint of sugary cereal. Definitely not as pink as some of the ones I’ve seen, but there’s still occasional bites of soggy cereal within the cake. Of course, I called it with the Froot Loops on top becoming soggy after touching the whipped cream on top. They’re sooo good as a crunchy snack since they’re coated in butter and sugar before being baked, so it is a cereal streusel, but they get slapped on top of whipped cream, so if you don’t eat them immediately, they become soggy and stale super quickly. At that point, just give me an entire box of the Froot Loops 🙃 I also think the visuals of the cereal on top aren’t as appealing as the tester version that was made with fruity pebbles. They’re cute, but it looks like a five year old came up with it… but let’s be honest everyone at corporate acts like a toddler.

Review Week 5/25/2026

Disclaimer - I am.. no longer an employee!

Looks like Jason and the corporate idiots got their Mormon garments in a twist over my posts. Ya girl got fired 🙂‍↕️✌️ which sucks because I was their biggest cookie fan, and I loved mixing and baking. I was pretty damn good at my job! But for two years, I had promotions and promises dangled in front of me like a carrot on a stick, and was disappointed over and over again. I worked *hard* and they damn well knew that. BUT, I’m kind of glad it happened. I would have never quit, the company has made so many awful decisions that I stuck around for and I would continue to do. I felt stuck. I only met one good franchise owner, who helped me when I worked at a different location alone and was getting yelled at by a frustrated customer. She would pop in to my regular location every now and then to check in, and she really couldn’t believe how poorly my locations were being run. Now I’ve been freed from this place and I’m genuinely excited to use my extra day off from my normal 9-5 to pursue other hobbies. I’ll still review some flavors! Clearly, I still got them this week since there’s a new chocolate chip, and the peanut butter cookie called my name. But, I’m just a normal customer now, and that’s okay! I have enough stashed cookies in my freezer to last way too long 🤣 plus… the cookies this week were not the same as when I first started reviewing them, and when it was fun to eat the cookies. It’s funny the Rice Krispie bar is on the lineup because that was on the menu the week I was hired. I thought about acting like I was still an employee just for shits and giggles but ehhh.. I don’t care anymore.

I’d also like to call out *how* I got fired, because I need y’all to hear how unprofessional it was. And I hope they read this too, it doesn’t matter to me if they know *now* that this is me. I couldn’t put into words how disgusting it made me feel when it happened. A sudden zoom call in the middle of my other job, the franchise owner and manager, and a script explaining how I was being terminated. I broke the NDA, not surprising but most employees do let’s be honest, and when I asked to see concrete evidence that this was coming from my account, since my name isn’t the same as my username, they said they had no evidence and that it was a confidential corporate investigation that they knew of only an hour before the call. And that it was affecting the store rating somehow. I didn’t say anything after that, other than okay. No point in arguing, but it did put a nasty taste in my mouth. Couldn’t even do it in person let alone show me evidence. So much for busting my ass, alone for the most part, for two years for a company that doesn’t give a single shit! All of my friends and family were EXCITED, especially my family. They hate crumbl and have hated it for a while. Thank god for my normal job💖

Thank you all for making this sub interesting, reading my reviews, and dealing with my overtopping 😌 btw, them getting rid of spoilers is so stupid and it really makes it hard for anyone to prep. Thanks corporate for another idiot decision. I will still try the new flavors if I want to spend the money on them, but shrinking the cookies, changing the recipes and not changing the prices is disgusting behavior.

Now onto the review after that long story!!!

(Not pictured) biscoff cheesecake 🍮 4/10 - last time we had this, I rated it 8/10…what happened? The filling now tastes like the other cheesecakes, which are sour and almost taste like they’ve been sitting in the fridge for weeks. The biscoff pieces mixed into the filling become soggy, and make the cheesecake look like it has some skin infection. It definitely doesn’t have as much biscoff flavor mixed in like it used to. The most biscoff you get is the little pool of it on top, and the bottom crust is just crushed biscoff cookies with butter so that is also the only good part. But wow, the flavor of the filling was pure disappointment.

Lemon poppyseed (not pictured) 🍋 6/10 - man I love the lemon bar cookie, but this one just does not do it for me. It’s the almond extract in the glaze that just gives me the ick, it’s the same reason I don’t like the pink sugar frosting. Almond extract tastes good when baked, but not just pure extract. The base cookie has a nice lemon flavor and of course the lemon curd inside is the best part. Super sweet but still a little tangy, but it’s needs way more inside.

Rice crispie 🌾 2/10 - who asked for this to come back?? Like I said, this was on the menu when I first got hired, and I remember scraping the pans over and over to get this marshmallow rice crap off for days. Sure it’s huge, thank god, but it’s soggy and stale. There’s no crisp to this at all, and the lack of interesting flavor other than marshmallow and white chocolate is sad. There’s Oreos in it, yet they’re so soggy and coated in milk chocolate that I can barely taste them. It’s like biting into a foam mattress. Bland. Lame. Also not even a cookie.

Oatmeal raisin 🥣 7/10 - she’s basic, but she’s still a good cookie. Nothing special, even the level of spices in the base cookie seem muted and bland. Every so often, there’s a single raisin… so it just. Needs. More. ‘Calorie conscious’ just means smaller and less toppings or add ins. Way to ruin even the simple cookies.

New chocolate chip 0/10 - going back to your roots?? The roots clearly needed to be changed, because this new chocolate chip cookie is TERRIBLE. First of all, it’s thin, flat, and tiny compared to the semi sweet and milk chocolate cookies. It’s hard as a rock on the outside and on the inside too, barely any chocolate chunks and chips, and the overall flavor tastes like the tollhouse cookie recipe on the back of a bag of chocolate chips. It’s boring. It’s sad. It’s a good representation of the company’s trajectory. Bring back the regular recipe.

Peanut butter cup brownie 🥜 7/10 - literally the only cookie I looked forward to because it’s both brownie and peanut butter. But, wow was I disappointed in this too! The flavor is fine, but not rich like I wanted it to be. Barely any peanut butter cups, barely any peanut butter on top, and the brownie flavor is muted. It’s not soft and gooey like the brownie batter cookie, and that’s what I was hoping it would be. Similar to the other cookies this week, there’s a very distinct odd flavor going on and I’m not sure how to describe it. It’s in all the cookies too, like everything tastes a bit off, and it tastes like bad ingredients. This cookie is at least soft in the very center, but damn it’s thin again, not fluffy and cakey like the cookies should be.

If this is how the new and improved recipes are going to be, then I don’t want them anymore. The dense, tall, fat cookies that were always slightly underbaked were the reason I *loved* Crumbl specifically. Changing to these thin, crispy, and small cookies and parading it as ‘calorie conscious’ or improved recipes just solidifies how tone deaf and money hungry these people are.
