New bike day! X-LAB RS7
Picked her up yesterday from Roy’s in Sheepshead Bay/Coney Island (Brooklyn, NY) and dramatically in love. I was worried I went with the wrong size at first, as I went in assuming I’d be a medium based on the X-LAB size chart.
Boris (incredible salesperson) told me they do in fact run oversized and confirmed my suspicion when I was standing next to a medium one. He suggested the small, and I was apprehensive at first. I even felt remorse when I got home and double checked the site.
But you all here in this sub are making me feel better! I felt like the medium was too large when I stood next to it, and I’m 5’8, 5’9 on a good day.
While I am a bit turned off to the smaller handlebar width and the slightly shorter wheelbase, I’m happy with my decision. And thank you all for easing my mind on my buyers remorse with the size.
