1 year with the moondrop ultrasonics

1 year with the moondrop ultrasonics

Short review for these 80 to 100$ earbuds

I used to use the spacetravels 1s before these and those were super quiet and kinda unbalanced so I needed a upgrade and from what I found these were the best pick for me and gotta say after a year I still really like these things

Pros: great fit I mean it is just a airpod pro design so it's bound to be comfy

The sound is fantastic great range and soundstage can be really balanced or really punchy depending on the eq

Build quality is alright it's really standard run of the mill earbuds nothing special

Volume is really good like really loud for the size

The case is and size is overall good just because you get the add on with a lid because on there own it's still so stupid moondrop does not have a built in top for them so it's just open to the world to collect all kinds of dust

For studio use these aren't bad tracking is decent and light EQ is not bad either but honestly if Ur gonna eq just use a proper headset

Pretty decent latency nothing groundbreaking

Cons: anc is weak it does do something it's just not amazing I have nothing else to really compare it too so I can really go off of anything else

Pass through on the other hand is decent but it just feels like I'm on a phone call in the world

Battery life for the case is good I think about around 2 to 4 charges so like 30 total I think but the earbuds battery isn't the greatest it's around 6 hours after a year and for 80$ I guess that's ok?

The app is always a basket case but I would say it's bad for these buds but recently they added custom EQ option so honestly a plus

Overall: really solid and reliable earbuds I would recommend them it's basically my daily for on the go production and all-round music mostly use these at work
