What's the secret to cold AC??

I have a 2026 Limited. I just had a 40 minute drive home from work. The air barely got cold, I was still breathing hot air when I got home. Primarily, I had it on AC, LO temp, full fan, and interior circulation. I made a few adjustments to try different settings, and nothing made it any better. And the ventilated seat? I only felt it in my upper back and headrest. My lower back and butt (the hottest parts) got no ventilation.

Please help!!!

26 Limited

I've had my Limited for a week and here are my thoughts so far.

I thought blueprint was a flat blue, but it's so sparkly! 🤩 That was a nice surprise.

Gas mileage: I have a 35 minute commute, 70 miles total per day, and I haven't had to get gas yet. The average mpg starts at zero and gradually increases as you drive, I'm up to 36.7 and still increasing. That's in normal mode and driving at 72-73 on the highway. I will be testing with modes and speeds over the next several weeks.

The infotainment screen has a crazy reflection. My husband found me an anti-glare screen cover on Amazon that's working really well. https://a.co/d/0dlwyPkx

HUD: I could have gotten an XLE much quicker but I held out for the Limited so I could have the HUD. You can change the level of info that shows up on it. I'm at the highest level and it shows speed, cruise speed, speed limit, stop signs, and a gauge that shows charging, eco, and power. While in cruise mode, it also shows space between you and the next car, you can increase or decrease the space allowance. I was looking forward to the navigation, but it doesn't work with Android Auto apparently. It does work with the Toyota navigation, but that's on a 1 year trial and is subscription based after that. The directions do show up in the gauge panel, but it's not the same.

Speaking of subscriptions, remote start is on subscription after the 1 year trial as well. I'm in New York so that's really frustrating. For $50k I should be able to remote start for life at no extra cost. If I'd known that ahead of time, I would have saved the after market starter from my old car to have installed.

Driver facing camera: I think it gets confused by reflective glasses. The whole way home it was telling me that my eyes were closed or I was distracted. You can't turn the camera off, but you can turn the notifications off.

Self parking is pretty sweet. It does parallel parking and side by side parking.

Steering wheel feels nice. Seats are comfortable. The center console rubs against the side of my knee. If I'm in cruise and pull my foot back, my knee hits the corner of the eco mode buttons as well. I'm 5'11" and my husband is taller than me, so I'm curious to know his thoughts on leg room. The kids say they have enough leg room in the back seat.

The trunk area is bigger than I expected. I'm coming from a traverse where I could fold down seats and fit a whole couch in there. I don't think I can fit furniture, but I can definitely go on vacation and not worry about fitting everything.

Last thing, and this is probably a me thing. When I use cruise control, it always keeps me at 1mph below the speed I set. I set it at 73, the car goes 72. If I wanted to go 72, I would set it at 72. I've never had a car do that before. It's just one of those little, irritating things.

Edit to add that I made my deposit on Feb 21 and got my car on June 11.
