I have the Jet Blue Plus Card, that I use as my main CC for all purchases throughout the year. I don’t get to fly often, maybe 2 vacations a year (3 if I’m lucky.) But when I do fly it’s almost exclusively with JB. I just hit mosaic 1 and was curious if anyone have recommendations on the best perk strategy to maximize value from the card? Hey all, I just came across this thread recently and I’ve been reading through the sub trying to gather as much information as I can. I have a 457b through the NYC DCP. I’ve been contributing for about 9 and a half years (which is when I was hired from my agency.) I’m going to be honest I didn’t know much about 457s when I signed up other than to try and contribute to it as much every year. I currently have it set into the 2055 retirement fund and my I’m trying to educate myself if I’m really maximizing on the opportunity to compound money within the fund. Is investing in this fund a mistake ? Should I switch to the equity index fund to mirror the S&P? My account is currently sitting at ~180K and I’m in my early 30s and I only plan on staying with my agency another 10 years or maybe 15 at max but definitely no more than 15 years. Should I also consider a Roth IRA to start contributing to as well? Any and all help/ guidance is really appreciated.
