A doubt regarding Cisco's hiring process

Hi all! I just wanna ask, does Cisco have a look at resumes that get in without a referral?

I personally don't know anyone who works there atm, but I do have faith in my resume. Please help a girl out🥲

Is this a recruiting scam from GS?

I applied for a software engineer associate role last week through a referral and post applying, I got a mail saying a recruiter will reach out if your profile is a good fit. This mail was from GSRecruiting@oracle.com

I got reached out by a recruiter as well, I verified her employment at GS through her LinkedIn profile, she also contacted me through same mail 'GSRecruiting@oracle.com', asking me to attach my latest mail, expected comp and notice period, telling me that <name> will be reaching out regarding my interview schedule and I shared all the info she requested, a week ago and I haven't received any response from them yet.

Funnily enough, my status was showing as Application Turndown at the GS Oracle website at that time - no automatic email was sent for that.

Edit : Forgot to give you additional context, but when I replied back for a follow up post sending my details, it says Address Not Found. That's why I am inclined to believe about a possible scam. Please help a girl out 🥲

I don't mind getting a rejection, but if it's a scam, I would like to report it.

Is there any GS channel that I could contact to verify the authenticity of this mail from the supposed recruiter?

How to get out of interview-phobia after a while ?

Hi all, I am looking to switch jobs in a bit as my current job downplays my work a lot and refuses to let junior developers have any opinions whatsoever. I am confident in my abilities and I have good communication skills too, with 2.5 YOE as a java developer and 2 patent filings.

However, I have this fear of giving interviews ever since I sat for my college placements. I have given nearly 25 interviews, nearly 4 years ago. But somehow when it comes to the interview round, I start to panic and lose my words.

Any tips on how I could start preparing for interviews and overcome this fear?
