I have two Sh-32's and the Sh-4d.

Personally, I think the Sh-32 absolutely rips sonically over the Sh-4d.

The 4d just doesn't have the gel of the filter and I feel there's some aliasing going on with the intersecting of the various waveforms that make up its sound. There's just something about its tone that makes me keep going back to the Sh-32 because it's sound closer to a Juno. Hence why I bought another one.

I want to get a Gaia and can't decide on which one I should get. All I've heard of the Gaia 2 are pads and chord sounds but want the sound more akin to that retro progressive and rave sound.

Do you have experience with both Gaia synths and know the sound I'm looking for? I'm sure either one will work for the sound I want, it's sonically I want the sound to be more rich and not a VST. I'm leaning towards Gaia 1..

What I'm really getting at is..

I don't want another sh4d from the Gaia I want to buy.

Maybe if the programmers had to take the calls and tickets regarding their applications breaking all the time, they might be a little more careful with how they update their applications.
