I’m thinking about chopping my KS-2 barrel so it’s 16” overall with a pinned and welded SF3P. Has anyone here done this? Would you recommend it, or is it better to leave it alone?
Also, if I go through with it, should I leave the gas port as is or have it adjusted?
I’ll be running a SureFire RC2 most of the time, so I’m wondering if there are any downsides or reliability issues I should be aware of.
I know they’re solid, but I just can’t get past the look. The sharp lines aren’t doing it for me. I’m honestly considering switching to a Badger Ordnance C1 purely because I like how it looks more.
Anyone ditch theirs just for aesthetics? Or did you stick with it because performance > looks?
