Waiting paid off (SemiQ dime roll)
I tried to buy it on the US Mint but was late. But now I got 3 rolls for FV at my job woop woop
Steel cent
My manager supplied us with penny rolls from her house, and my coworker found it in his drawer. My first steel cent, woop woop
Reasonable price?
Im currently paying the price for last months credit card usage and would like some cash to spend outside of my bank accounts. Met a customer at my job thats fairly into collecting. Heres the stuff id be willing to sell:

90% quarters: $15 each
Franklin half: $30
Morgan: $40
2009 and SS: $25

And the part that might make me an @-hole.. $30 for the SemiQ coins and the gold plated. Im new myself to collecting and became victim to FOMO on the emerging liberty on Whatnot.. spent $32 + 8 shipping for it iirc. I want to make some of it back, but I dont want to be a deceiver myself either. I let him know in text of my mistake and let him know my price for him is purely bc of novelty, and the gold is extremely negligable.
Who did it?
Just figured i'd post this in hopes that the painter may see it- or someone recognizes this kind of work. First of all, nice! I really enjoy custom pieces like this. I got this on a Whatnot auction for $83 on a day that silver was going for $75. It shipped out of Idaho and went to my hands in New Jersey. This piece that you painted will probably stay in my possession for the next 5-10 years. Not sure there will ever be a point in selling it unless someone really likes the design themselves.
How many SemiQ coins have yall found so far?
Threw in an honorable mention to make the pyramid shape- 2009-P. It has been the LAST coin I needed to complete my series 3 set. Just proud to say the book is done lol (and im sure the bank is too)
Wish the semiQ nickels had something special... could have put literally anything on the reverse.
Proof, right?
Found this in a coin roll at work. Pretty neat. If it is a proof, why was it put into circulation? Were there other coins in the 2000-s proof slabs that were worth more out the slab or something?
I have a newfound admiration to generic silver rounds and various types of coin collecting. It has become my favorite hobby. I really want input on my current plan so far. I buy 2oz of silver and maybe a junk piece or 2 each month. I take home about $1.5k monthly after rent and food. Is this a fair plan? Is it common practice in the community to buy weekly, month by month, or am I just too head first in this hobby and need to slow down. I dont want to be some young geek who visits my local coin shop often if its not ideal to collect this often lol.
