Girl Dads of Trivandrum - Public washroom situation

I'm father to a 4 year old who believes 30 seconds is the optimum notice I need for a washroom emergency....

When it's just the two of us hanging out and my daughter suddenly needs to use the restroom, I always find myself in a dilemma. She's potty trained now,and she refuses to wear diapers, as she is in her "I am a big girl now" era. She's also still too young to confidently use a ladies' washroom by herself, and I don't feel comfortable taking her into a men's washroom.

Ironically, this feels like an even bigger issue at malls with dedicated kids' play areas, where you'd expect family-friendly restroom facilities to be standard. Yet, there is no such set up. (Or, I'm not aware)

Would love to know how you guys handle this or if there are places you've found that make it easier.
